Hi James I've only just caught up too (kids on hols.. mums banned bigtime from the pc  )It's really good I think that you feel comfortable enough to tell us about your 'other bits' too it was very brave.I haven't even got around to an SOA yet!! Your's and SS's diarys are always great to read and believe it or not they do inspire the rest of us..we all sit here nodding saying too bloody true and thinking a lot of the same things, whatever our own individual situations we all have a LOT in common.I personally think it must be a lot harder when you're younger and/or single at least I have the old man I can rant at or bash with a frying pan if the stress gets too much :shhh: and I've had all my 'party animal' days :rotfl: *disclaimer* not that I'm past it in any way or totally over the hill0

James, is that 'credit card debt' in your sig as well as the other total or is that a proportion of it? Just wanted to clarify cos it's late, and I can't be bothered to go back and check your confessions - lol
So your total debt could be £13108.45 - or did I totally lose track somewhere?0 -
Just read through the WHOLE of your debt diary. What an inspiration! I can't believe how much my debt is (just over £30K between 2 of us), but now I am determined to sort it out. Just got a wedding to get out of the way first! Good luck mate - wish I could fit in more work. Doing 50 hours a week as it is!:j Currently doing the Swagbucks challenge :j0

certainly nothing to be ashamed of mate, just remember, theres always many people worse of than yourself. Now, not saying that these people are in a bad situation, but heres a couple of short stories to keep you amused.
I was parking at Makro on Saturday and a women in the car in front was fumbling around for ages, as I got out of my car she approached me. "I'm really imbarised, but do you have a penny? I asked the men to clean my car while I was in the shop, spent most of my cash then realised as I got to the car I didnt have much cash left to pay these guys" In here hand was a big pile of shapnel, so doing my good deed for the day, I gave her a penny. Then walked off highly amused!
She obviously wasnt hard off, but everyone can get stuck cant they?
How about this one. Now this couple may very well have been short on cash, but. I was in Netto loading the trolley. There was a hold up in front of me, the lady said 'I'm sorry for holding you up, but we havnt quite got enough to cover the bill. My husband is just taking the trolley back to get the last pound".
True stories, and all in the last week!0
