I don't work for Boots and never have. I am a Boots customer, who likes you all, loves a bargain. However, I thought this forum was called 'Grabbit while you can'. Perhaps it should be renamed 'Grabbit in which ever way you can'. There seems to be so much dishonesty being discussed.
    For example:

Taking things back with the intention of obtaining a refund of more than you paid.

Knowingly breaking the terms and conditions of the AC vouchers.

Trying to obtain the free gifts without making the proper purchases.

IMO all the above is morally wrong, it saddens me to see how many people think it is acceptable and I sympathise with the Boots Staff.

    Hi Crabbysa,

so if you got two items say on bogof and pay £5, you did`nt use them for a while, but then when you did you had a reaction, you no longer have your receipt, you take the items back to boots for a refund due to the reaction and they offer you an exchange/refund to the value of £10 beacause they are no longer on bogof, would you say o.k thanks, or would you say, oh no, dont give me £10 because i only paid £5!?
  • ...and when i took my free no7 eye cream back coz it made my eye swell up, i did want summin else in exchange 1. coz my eye hurt likr hell despite teh no7 lady telling me it would be fine and 2. coz i wouldnt get my voucher back.

We first meet the Smiths at the wedding party of eighteen-year olds Jabe and Helena Smith. Jabe’s brothers; Tommy, Henry and Richard and his father Tommy; provide the entertainment with their band and the pub is heaving with the Smith’s huge extended family. None of Helena’s family is there, they have refused to participate in her marriage to a Gypsy man; they believe the bad press about Gypsies being dirty thieves who destroy the countryside. Helena knows the truth and despite wishing her mother was there to enjoy her special day; she knows that she has made the right decision. Lizzie, Jabe’s mother has taken Helena under her wing and whilst Jabe saves up for their own vardo; the young couple will live with Lizzie and Tommy Senior.

  • I'm wondering if theres something wrong with my eyes (better go to boots opticians :D )

...because for the life of me I can't see any vouchers on packs of bodyform ANYWHERE! I've looked in my local tescos too ?? (and I've really inspected all the packs too ... heck I hope no-ones been watching me ... I must look very strange)

Mind you - my local boots has practically nothing in the way of goodies (no ei, avene , soltan .....)

Oh well. I got my 2nd (prob.my last) skincare/chocs voucher today so I'm happy enough
