bham-dave wrote:At the very least write an accurate description of the above to Head Office explaining and mentioning each of the times that basic expected levels of Customer Service were not maintained by this woman.
Just wondering how this 'accurate description' would begin....."I returned two items that I had paid £2.50 for and wanted a £12.50 refund so I told the Sales Assistant that they were presents and I didn't have a receipt....."
Perhaps it's being lied to that makes Sales Assistants crabby!?!!0 -

:j Yay :j
Got 4 of the Soltan Kids packs today - I only popped in to get my Gran a few toiletries while she's in hospital. Spotted them on the very bottom shelf of the Soltan display as I was walking past :j The SA was great and commented on how good a bargain they were as soon as she saw my basket  She also told me they had loads more to put out so I think I will be going back as, although I use higher a factor on the kids, me and DH use 15 all the time! Bargain!! :j :j :j:A OFFICIAL Boots Tart :A and member of the PAH! club :rotfl:

I still have one in reserve so I will be visiting my smaller (no AC machine  ) local branch tomorrow:A OFFICIAL Boots Tart :A and member of the PAH! club :rotfl:

Hi there,
Bit new to posting, but have been reading for a long time before I registered.
Anyway, I think this is the correct place to post this as it isnt a 'real' freebie but is a free item.
I went in my local Boots today and was buying some no7 products and saw a basket on the floor behind the tills of travel make up brushes. Good quality bristles and wooden handled ones.
I asked the assistant if they were going to be for sale or for a future promotion.
She replied they were actually a free gift with Max Factor products. I said Oh i wanted some travel brushes so would look at the Max Factor stand.
She then replied, "that offer has expired but if youre buying those no 7 items I will pop a free set in with them for you"...She then decided one set wasnt enough and gave me two sets!
So I came away with some suncare BOGOF offers, and another thing to make up the £15 needed to get my free promotional gift. A Lindor Chocs voucher which I immediately swapped for the 99p chocs, the £5 make up voucher, will use next week and 2 really fab quality Max Factor make up brush sets. Saved me over £18 for the ONE set I was going to buy myself!
So if youre next in and by the no7 or Max Factor stand its worth a look to see if they have any sets left and innocently (It was genuine on my part lol) asking if they are for sale or a future free gift...You never know you may get some free too!
Hope thats helpful to someone,
Sam0
