I bought ten bodyform today and put a body spray in my basket to take it above ten pounds. when I got to the till and gave the SA my vouchers she said she would have to put them through one at a time meaning I didn't get my voucher for the ten pound spend, i wish the tills would all say the same thing its very confusing!!!

Do you mean that you had to do all the Bodyforms in separate transactions? On the back of the vouchers they state that you can use one voucher against each product purchased, so it should have been fine to do all 10 at once.

Yep! All in seperate transactions. I was there ages and the queue was huge behind me! She said it wouldn't work all in one go. She gave me ten pennies back though! She piled them up on the counter till she'd finished.
  • If they are funny like that just tell them you've already tried it before (or a 'freind did) and the till did it!

I bought two of these sets today BOGOF so only paid £2.49 as other posters have said. There were three or four more left at Boots in Basildon if anyone else wants them. They are at the end on on a shelf where the reduced items are and in the section where the suncare is. No Avene bags though.
  • Hi everyone, been a while since I've read this thread but hey quite glad I did as I got loads of Bodyforms from Tesco & Boots. Met a couple of lovely ladies at the tills whilst I was doing so - who watched and laughed but agreed and said why ever not?

The boots lady was one that insisted on the painful 1-by-1 approach so I let her with pleasure whilst the Tesco one did them all in one and just looked confused when I gave her 2p for the bottle of drink as they'd ran out by then.

The best thing to do next time is, let the SA put all the items through and then produce the vouchers.

At the very least write an accurate description of the above to Head Office explaining and mentioning each of the times that basic expected levels of Customer Service were not maintained by this woman.

Sorry to hear of your ordeal Megasaver, as usual some very good advice from Dave which I think you should consider following.

:A Thanks everyone (but especially to Dave :T , Sandra :T and Happyroly:T for your lovely and very supportive emails. I will def consider writing a letter/email to Boots customer service about today's ordeal..... I have now calmed down and am planning my next Boots attack :rotfl: Moral of the story as Dave said "avoid middle-aged resentful bitter crabby SAs " who "will bite and bark" Unfortunately I had no choice today.... she was the only one available.... but should have bided my time.....and waited for a younger SA or at least a male one who would have just got on with things instead of making a mountain out of a molehill

THeres an awful SA at my local boots, i went to buy a Olay Total effects face cream with my £5 voucher. Getting all the total olay things for mum for mothers day so had previously got wipes and face wash with the vouchers but this time she pipes up, 'dont think this is on the voucher'. I pretended not to hear her and she scanned the voucher anyway and it worked like i knew it would. One in the eye for her!!

Oh and the Lynx click is lovely, well worth stocking up with the vouchers. Hubby went thru all his smellie bits at the weekend and he has 4 huge toiletry bags full of stuff and a box too. Maybe i have gone a bit OTT!!!

Going back tomorrow tho, ordered online and need to pick up my points but the machines at our local havent been working for ages.
