  • Remember those large white Evian bags that we got before Christmas for about £4 each on a BOGOF, well I took one of mine back yesterday and was given a full refund of £14.99 no problems.!!
No one puts baby in the corner.
  • oooh thats well good! i feel another challenge coming on! hehe! :)
Boots Cribbs Causeway have the winter no7 nail varnish with glitter highlights reduced to 49p and it works with that. They also had the highlighter reduced and the 200 extra points out of the machine works with it, but they have all vanished!
Loads more Hard Candy and further reductions so got 3 good items for £1, make sure you check inside the boxes to make sure some1 hasn't tested them!
No Avena bags in north bristol, and the AC machine is now only giving me rubbish offers - no TS no Lynx, fcuk or hackett - I only used 1!
  • thanks bloomin typical i saw some of them in boots (brum) yesterday and i never picked em up arghhhh nevermind back in today pmsl :rotfl:
Help where about. I was planning to go later and it will save me the leg work :j :j :confused:

Got my boots.com order today containing the make up folders, opened the one that I am keeping and found that it contains a 200 point no 7 voucher that expired on 31.1.06 - means that I now have to open the others and remove vouchers - they are sellotaped in. Have emailed Boots to say that they should put a note with the items on screen, as I can hardly give a gift with an out of date voucher inside, as it makes it look as though the make up may be out of date (well it would to my mum anyway!), and no doubt I'll damage the packaging on the box opening it to start with!

Anyway anyone who has ordered these, beware of the voucher!

A tip for getting the voucher out without causing too much damage.. Slide an ordinary dinner knife (not serrated edge) underneath and ease the flap out slowly on both sides, just done 4 and 3 are ok now, just the sticky seals look a bit tatty so its probably worth taking them off both sides of the packaging. They dont leave a mark so anyone receiving as a gift would never know they were there in the first place.

Secondly I phoned Customer Services as I received one of the organisers with damaged packaging anyway.
Explained that luckily I was keeping one for myself but that I wouldve been really disappointed if they were all for gifts.
They were all 4 packed in one box and the free gift too, The problem wasnt that they were squashed into a box that was too small, but that the brown paper packing that was pushed into the box to protect them was stuffed in, there was so much of it.

Anyway she apologised and I got my £3.50 postage and packing cost refunded.

    Thankyou very much Boots. :D

First pash, then malima and now I too have

    LOST MY ADVANTAGE CARD!

Oh, the pain and abject misery!

(What smilie should you use for a grown man crying?)

Was thinking of planning a Trevor Sorbie tour of Bham later, but my cunning plan has been thwarted.

Thankfully only had a tenner on it and have rang Customer Services using my tip from the other day (talk about taking your own advice ) and a new card will be out to me in a couple of weeks.

I think the thread may be cursed - Hold on to your Cards, Tarts! :D Thankfully, I can report that I'm NOT pregnant too, which seems to be affecting several thread members. ;)

Click on the bit that says Advantage Card on the menu on the left of the Boots.com screen, and just follow the instructions, don't forget you need to be less than 26 weeks pregnant to get your no 7 voucher! :D

you could give your avene sets as gifts? swap em for summin else with a mate? or else use the stuff in case you get burnt this warm sunny hot british summer!
With the Avene Aftersun - I thought you could use Aftersun all year round as soothing body moisturiser?

    Would others agree?
