Got my boots.com order today containing the make up folders, opened the one that I am keeping and found that it contains a 200 point no 7 voucher that expired on 31.1.06 - means that I now have to open the others and remove vouchers - they are sellotaped in. Have emailed Boots to say that they should put a note with the items on screen, as I can hardly give a gift with an out of date voucher inside, as it makes it look as though the make up may be out of date (well it would to my mum anyway!), and no doubt I'll damage the packaging on the box opening it to start with!

Anyway anyone who has ordered these, beware of the voucher!

Just want to say how much I love this thread! I have recently moved to an office in a town centre, so am now taking full advantage of all the little glitches. Off to try and get some TS stuff this lunch time. Does anyone know if the 38p face wash gets 100points on the AC voucher?
  • i have two of those 250 point no7 vouchers, (from the new gift which i got for absolutely free coz of parenting club vouchers! hehe!) do they work with reduced items and can anyone recomend owt good? ive seen some of those xmas gifts with lipstick and nail polish reduced to £2.50 so that'd be free techincally wouldnt it?

    :)

I used a 250 point voucher from the free bag before christmas and I used it on a reduced and old style No7 sun stuff in Jan. Paid 89p and got 250 points :j

Got some great bargains on TS yesterday, a kind (!) SA had put the new style TS stuff in the gap for the old stuff, which was marked at £1.99 for the face wash, and £1.25 for the detox shampoo - both of which ds uses. So lots of bargains:

    3 x TS face wash @ £1.99 each =£5.97
    4 x TS detox shampoo @ £1.25 each = £5.00
1 x Ted Baker h&B wash @ £3.99 (full price  , shame on me!)

Total paid = £10.96 after £4.00 discount, so also got a skincare/choc voucher - yippee! SA was a bit sour faced after having to go and check the prices for me, when I insisted that I get the stuff for the cheaper price! ;) Where was the lovely SA who pointed out the Hard Candy offer the other day?

No Avene bags though and no reduced sun lotion, well some, but not reduced to prices in previous postings!

Anyway DS is very pleased with my haul, so lots of points for being a good mummy! :A

Edit: nearly forgot, also got 800 bonus points and 75 points for spending over £7.50 - so really only "cost" £2.21 - :D

I've seen silver mesh bags in Boots, often knocking round the Natural Collection toiletries, though they don't seem to be marked as part of the range. They seem quite tall and thin, so would probably take a couple or few bottles of EI.

They catch my eye as they don't tend to have a price displayed most of the time - but I think I saw them at 37p at one point (so probably under £1 at full price?)

I think the cellophane idea is nice too - of course Boots have taken to putting bits of skincare out in it and you can see it's quite effective :)

I bought some of these silver mesh gift bags a couple of weeks ago. They were 18p each at that time. Might be less now.

Christmas tags are 10p a pack and rolls of Christmas paper 25p.

Large Christmas cards 50p a box and smaller cute Winne the Pooh and forever friends xmas cards 25p a box. Might not be marked but they were priced in one Boots I went into but not in another.

  • i tried to use the Lynx Click - tried to get 5 for over £10 to get the £4 discount and the chocs voucher etc

but when the SA tried to scan them thru they wouldnt work - my vouchers said one voucher per transaction so i didnt get anything

anyone else had problems or had their voucher showing as one per transaction?

My vouchers said one per transaction for the Lynx Click but I gave SA 5 and they all went through with no problem ( along with total spend coupon, 99p choc voucher, 100points for meal deal etc! )
