I tried 2 of my cards in the machine today and everthing seems to have gone and the total spend has now gone up to £20!
Are the spend £10 get a £5 skincare choc/99p voucher offer still on and also is the no 7 offer?
Mary
Hi Mary
I can't find freebie-junkie's original post about Avene but if you go to page 4 - post no 160 it will tell you about it. Basically it appears that you can get a freebie - Avene orange bag with after sun care lotion in. I'm not sure how much it's worth but I got some this morning and it's quite nice.
My AC didn't give me anything much either today so seems to be a bad day for that.
Yes the £5 skincare vouchers are still going. The choc voucher has to be redeemed by 14 Feb but the skincare £5 one is valid until 28 Feb. No 7 offer is still on if you mean the freebie lilac gift set - free when you spend £15.
Hope that helps a bit but I'm sure one of the experts will be along to help you soon. I'm a bit of a novice myself, but learning quickly0 -
There are still loads of rolls of Xmas paper at the till in my local Boots, all marked up BOGOF, £1.49 per roll. Chatting to the nice young SA she "whispered" "although that paper is marked up BOGOF it's only 25p - do you want any?". I asked why they hadn't put a notice up with the reduced price but she just shrugged and said she didn't think they liked people to get bargains! I knew from here that some of you had found it only 25p but as it hadn't been marked down and my Boots don't have many bargains *sighs* I assumed it wasn't. So I've came home with two rolls for 50p. NOW my shoeboxes will be Boots wrapped aswell
! Apart from that we don't have an AC machine and no other bargains:(.

if you already have teh cash put aside for the goods, its a good way to do it i think. i dont need owt big at teh mo so im good with my £30 worths i got with my voucher and my mates.
but say you saved up for an expensive £300 buggy, instead you could buy 200 EI handwashes at bogof for £166 and get £300 worth of points so youd get your buggy plus £134 in your pocket plus tonnes of handwash to either use yourself, share with friends and family or give to charity
i think someone was trying to make teh point that it was false economy in an earlier post but if it was summin you really wanted/needed and it was cheapest at boots, i dont see teh problem?
Think you're referring to a post I made the other day about always remembering the cash equivalent of your points.
In your example above, if the £300 buggy is cheapest at Boots, then of course you've had a bargain financing it with an outlay of £166. (Not to mention a ton of free handwash!)
But some things can be found anything up to 5 (or more) times cheaper elsewhere (though that would mainly apply to things like everyday toiletries) so always best - as ever - to shop around. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. After the earlier post about the Evian bags, I looked under the stairs and there they were smiling at me - two of them - great, I'd forgotten that I got one for MIL's birthday. The bag also contained lots of other pre Christmas Boots bargains - yippee.
I'm going to have to work out some kind of index system for my Boots bargains, so I remember who I've bought what for, and where it is!
Also found various bits I'd got in the sales of dd1 and dd3's birthdays in April - hooray!
BrokeBrunette - well done with all your goodies, bet you feel really warm and glowing now!
Birmingham Dave - sorry to hear about your sad loss! Send my spare card to Pash yesterday, otherwise I would have offered it to you.
Don't like the sound of what's happened to the AC machines much, where has everything gone? Perhaps we will have to wait until 15th Feb, think the website says that a voucher will be available then for the Jemma Kidd range of make up, so perhaps this is when other goodies will appear.GC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£4000 -

Got absolutely BOG ALL.No coupons in AC machine apart from competitions,no avene bags no good bargains in sale stuff. Am now depressed which is terrible as it's not like anything bad has happened(well!) but was so looking forward to my shopping trip.Looks like the Lynx/TS honeymoon is over .Roll on the next one.
Incidentally, rather than write your list out, why not just copy and paste the contents of Post 1 (thanks to the lovely Liverbird), put it into a Word document and simply delete all the bits you're not interested in? Many thanks to the person who spotted the Avene bags were free- I did get two Botanics wipes with each, but the sa scanned the avene bag first and it was 0p.There were only two I could see in Chelmsford- maybe more tomorrow. It was great to get back to Boots after working a couple of extra days this week!
Also hello to the lady I met when her card was stuck in the advantage machine and then I accosted her and made her look at my bargains...! She said she got martin's email so hope you have made it to the thread.0
