That's very lucky indeed, as the "Spend £10, get £4 off on Mens" offer specifically excludes razor blades! :D

Anyone else tried this on blades? The £4 deduction is automatic at the till, so I guess if you present over £10 worth of mens stuff including blades, and the reduction doesn't come off, you can always play dumb and get the transaction cancelled.

Might try that myself. Will report back on that one Sunday or Monday! :)
That's what I thought, that razor blades are excluded? Has anyone else had the £4 discount on them?

If it works, DH will think Boots is the best place ever (but we all know that already :D)

    TIP

If you have a double points voucher with a 'new card' the till only sees uses against the card you use so even if used once against another card it thinks this is the first use on another, you get it back and can be used again.

Found this out by accident today :T
Great tip, but I was just wondering... Don't they usually write on the voucher after 1st use (in my experience, they usually write '1' on it), so wouldn't that confuse the SAs if they thought this was 2nd time, but the till said it was 1st?... so would they give it back?

If they do query it, I guess you could always come up with some excuse like, I tried using it before and it didn't work but the SA wrote on it anyway...

Or, maybe that's why they do put '1' on them, because they know it would work on more than one card!

But anyway, that's good to know, cheers for the tip! :D

In boots today orange large gift bags with tissue paper & gift card 12p each. I think they were sanctuary and loads there. It saved me wrapping a lot of stuff! They were with the sanctuary items creams etc

The Sanctuary range is currently on 3 for 2, so you could get 3 for 24p! 8p for a gift bag with tissue paper and tags!

    Quidco is 4.5% cashback.

Just looked at Quidco and you have to pay £5 per year in charges, does it work out better than the others where you get all your commission for free do you think? Depends how much you spend I suppose. Also do they pay you to do searches?

Went to Boots today and used my points to get some No7 items just to get the free bag for DD1. The SA said she didn't think it would work unless you spent "real" money. I told her to try it anyway and lo and behold it did work...I could have told her that!!

Went to boots today and noticed that with every purchase of no17 tanning product you got a free shimmer brush worth 2.99, so i bought the wipes at 1.99, got the brush free, and i used a 100 points coupon, and it added 100 points to the free item as well.......so i got 200 points for a 1.99 spend yayyyyyyyyyy

Could you tell me what 100 points coupon this was?

The AC machine (which is usualy very kind to me!) was giving out rubbish today - a bit like it did the other week when it was just the 100 points off Mark Hill stuff - just thought I'd say in case others got the same - I think it's always better if we know they haven't singled us out!!!

New offer in ACM for 100points on new No17 self tan range. This new range also has offer of free shimmer brush worth £2.99 when you buy any other product from the range. On checking receipt later, the tills are adding 100points for the free brush also. From what I remember the cheapest product in the range is self tan wipe or tan corrector wipe at £1.99 so theoretically could get one of these plus free brush thingy and 200 points back for £1.99 spend

    Pic of free brush

    Hi el6724
I posted details of this offer a few days ago but has been lost in the thread, see details above
