Can I just confirm that if you buy two £7.50 No7 suncare on bogof you still get the giftbag (even though you have only spent £7.50)

Not sure if I understood previous post properly.

    Many thanks

Yes you can, the till will accept it but the SA may question it I guess... it works though!

In case people aren't aware, there are still a few Christmas gifts hanging about.

Today I got a basket with tea and jam and biscuits in. Was £25, now £5.

    Bargain!

Just been to boots.com and got 2 Toni and Guy products @ £8.99 each for £7 and 2 @ £7.99 each for £7. Or £6.98 as the email seems to say!!! Also got the 500 points for spending over £25 on Boots brands!! Seems they are still taking it before the BOGOF's. Was very tempted with the Benefit Lip Gloss to get 500 points too but have soooo many of the No 7 Xmas spot lights stuff i have got cheap that i cant justify spending £11 on one lip gloss ( ) and thats the cheapest item with the points i could see!!!

So spent £13.96 and got 552 points for items worth £33.96. Cant believe it!!!

  • Went to boots today just to get a prescription, didn't need to get anything other than that really. I do a big shop there on Tuesdays anyway, I had a skincare voucher in my purse but some how lost it! *honest*.. Thought I would metion this to the friendly SA and ask her if she would be able to replace it for me, she checked with her superviser and I got a voucher with no questions asked!!! :)

Went to Boots in Leeds today, the one near Ikea and they had masses of Avena & Aderma reduced to half price. Also TD face masks £3.00.

Used a voucher and returned some EI cucumber (did not like smell) saved £20, plus bought loads of reduced items (tights £2.50 per pack, buy 2 get 3r rd free) and had to pay princely sum of £1.25.

Also got 85 points. Love this thread

Everybody getting the reduced Soltan packs BOGOF is proof that it works.
Indeed, and the reduced Daniele Ryman products went thru on BOGOF too recently.

It's all down to the pettyness of an individual SA. The till will allow reduced items to go thru on BOGOF.

Have to say to Maisie that I was amazed that a SA could be so stubborn over 98p.

Though of course, were they to sell all the best reductions to the customers, what the hell would be left for the staff to flog on ebay? ;)

just got hold of 4x Gilette extra 2 rasor blades,
they were in the spend £10 and save £4 offer, AND BOGOFF
but, they didnt scan at the till as BOGOFF, as the SEL had expired
    so, I got a £7.38 refund, AND £4 off
    i.e. buy one, get 3 free :-)
That's very lucky indeed, as the "Spend £10, get £4 off on Mens" offer specifically excludes razor blades! :D

Anyone else tried this on blades? The £4 deduction is automatic at the till, so I guess if you present over £10 worth of mens stuff including blades, and the reduction doesn't come off, you can always play dumb and get the transaction cancelled.

Might try that myself. Will report back on that one Sunday or Monday! :)

Can points from receipts be added to your account later - even if they've not been validated?

My mum gave me a receipt that has 103 points on it, but she didn't get it validated - i.e. there's no barcode on the bottom for the SA to scan the points on.
