Hi all
I got my vanquis card Thursday and was gob smacked
my apr was 34.9 with a 500 limit and yet my aqua card was 35.9 apr with
600 limit

well 12 days since i applied and still no rejection letter - although with the post situation, probably means it's lost in the post

When I got my vanquis card back in may, I had to wait nearly two weeks before I got the phone call from vanquis.

I got a £500 limit with an APR of 34% for purchases and 41% for cash.

My card was also the Abacus card design but I thought this card was no longer issued. Any thoughts?

Still no limit increase. Get my 4th statment on 20th so hopefully goto 1250.

Does anyone know when im likely to get my first increase?

Mate, I applied last Tuesday, and got a call Wednesday morning with an accept....I expected a decline!

Oh i'll get a decline. I'm probably such a special case, it's taken them 12 days to finish laughing at the very idea that i'd apply for a card

They don't have access to ring mobiles, apparently! But this could be a security feature or something, tmaybe they do a 192 search or something? who knows....

When i applied for my Vanquis back in 2007 they rang me on my mobile to set up my account and to try and flog me PPI.

They rang me on my mobile, in November 2008, to inform me I'd been accepted and to flog me PPI and a "cash advance" :rotfl:
