All you gotta do is not get into trouble with Vanquis. Pay off your balance in full monthly otherwise you will get hit with hefty interest charges. I only spend a few quid on the card a month. I opened it in April with a limit of £500, last statement they upped my limit to £1k! Jammy basterds...

Ok so if I have a default from 2006 on a cap one cc what are my chances of getting a Vanquis? I have no other credit issues and this has been settled for 3 years now. MMhh I wonder if its worth me applying? opinions?

I applied online in the early hours of this morning, found out earlier have been accepted with a £250 limit. Can't believe how fast they have been about 12 hours, when I applied it initially came back with ''we will be in touch in 10 - 14 days''

No more applications now, it's so addictive:p

    Well done!!!!!!!

Thanks! I mean its real easy to fall into their trap, I have been tempted! But anyone who has this card needs to have an iron will or at least know what they will get themselves into if they want to pay the minimum monthly. There is no place for naivety when it comes to using thier cards. The APR is astronomical!
