  • It has been known for Royal Mail to deliver to different addresses that's why we worry as we are the ones worried whilst others are getting free spend ups we are then liable for charges etc unless we can prove it then that messes up our credit ratings that we are trying hard to better.

Just called them, my card was dispatched on the 25th of January and was advised it will be with me in 10-14 days.
I was also advised the latest it should arrive is the 14th of February?
If nothing then, recall and it will be resent.

I just hate waiting with the fact I might have to wait all over again!

these companies use large mailing houses and DSA carriers
Its cheaper to put larrge amounts into the RM network
so they will wait, and do large amouts if they can

A limit that small won't be negatively affecting your ability to get a card elsewhere unless you draw your salary in pesos.

What is your balance? Note that if your cumulative balances add upto over 50% of your cumulative limits your credit worthiness can be negatively affected.

Ideally you should keep your credit balances to under 25% of your credit limits to ensure a good credit score although under 50% is sufficient usually :o

My balances are generally far under 25% - I don't actually use the cards other than for token purchases.

I am a student and so my 'salary' is about half of what I actually take in (half is student loan debt).

Total limit across all overdrafts and CC's is about £1700.

I'm about to post a thread for some information so would be grateful if people could offer some advice on it once I have.

Same, I'm hoping within a year to be able to get a mainstream card.
Hence why I applied for all three (Capital one, aqua and vanquis) and have several calalogues with a overall limit of almost £3500.

I have a £250 limit too, when do we receive a increase? :rotfl:
