I Applied for a Vanquis card on Saturday 6th March.

Having waited just over 3 weeks and not hearing anything I called them today and was advised my application was cancelled and that I would have to speak to customer services.
I did this then to be told that I had applied in less than 6 months so the system had already cancelled the application.

She then checked and said no it was over a year ago and then put me on hold and told me my application had been sent to the correct team and I should get a phone call tomorrow.

Do you think that saying I will get a phone call tomorrow is good news ? or is she fobbing me off because if it is a decline they normally send a letter out and only call when you have been successful.

Sounds like good news. But don't build up your hopes too much in case you're disappointed.
