The word advice is a problem for a moneysaving site as the FSA says it is illegal for a non qualified person to give advice but the site gets around this by a disclaimer saying the site is journalistic and does not give advice. A similar disclaimer is all that is needed for this thread.
To be supportive people need to discuss their experiences of mental health. We must remember that the thought process of a person suffering mental health is logical if you look at the world through their viewpoint. its just the mentally ill and the non mentally ill viewpoints are different, both valid but different. There is no fair reason why people should not be able to express views even if they buck the trend. i accept that there is no need for dosages of medication but information in general IMHO is vital for support.
Most mental health problems are associated with money saving whether its trying to keep working with the illness or managing on benefits or in beachbeths case managing without benefits.
i would urge the board guides to look at ways where a bit more freedom would be available without the need for post deletion.
End of essay and heres a line

I really didn't want to post on here anymore but AB your posts always somehow give me the courage to go for it.
I just want to say there is a lot more to fighting depression then doctors, specilaists and meds, all of which I agree we shouldn't discuss on here.
But I myself have done so much to help myself get better, a very simple example, exercise, after I dropped my son off at school I would walk back home the long way around through the forest and it helped a lot, but I feel very uncomfortable posting things such as that as it might be seen as me giving advice.
Truth be told I'm completely lost what we can and cannot post0 -
OUR DEEPEST FEAR
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant,
gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking
so that other people won't feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine, as children do.
We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is
within us.
It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously
give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear,
our presence automatically liberates others.

Lady M Please don't let whoever has been sending you emails drive you away.If you know you have not done what they accuse you of that is all that matters. What a nasty thing to say about you and Sam whoever said that sounds very childish and should grow up! There are some people who are so sad that they cannot stand for anyone else to be happy and we should pity them.0 -
