how old is baby, could he be teething? being hungry won't help you either, can you not manage a warm milky drink, or maybe some soup

  • Budget hun, you need to eat - you've got to take care of yourself. When I don't eat I just feel worse and worse.
Do you get any support from friends/family to help you with the baby? If he cries excessively it would be worth going to see your gp, and let him know that he cries a lot (he can check for reasons behind this) and also let him know that you are finding it hard to cope - he can arrange support for you.
Take care sweetheart, send me a PM if you want to talk more, or just post on here.

He's 17 months so not so much a baby anymore, now he's woken my other one up. Its never ending! They are both at it now

I just wanna scream. OH is doing my nut as well

On the plus side I am currently stuffing cold pizza into my mouth. Its kinda gross but its food
  • Thanks Rosepink

Its only recently he's been doing it but its really hard work, I think the terrible 2's are starting already! I think I might try the GP I just worry that they will say I can't cope and take my kids away. I am already getting so much help for my condition (won't say too much)
  • I feel like such a bad mother for eating (or doing anything for myself) when my kids are crying or anything. I feel bad for getting so angry and thinking such terrible things.

I will talk to my docs when I see them next although why do I never see them when its actually happening.

Thank you for reading and replying I do appreciate it!

Id better go see what needs doing, deep breath nice and calm!

from what I understand it's emails that she is getting and not PMs through the MSE system, so sending to abuse@MSE will achieve nothing.
Not necessarily true: LM said these emails were something to do with this site. It is possible that the sender is using the same email address as they have registered here, or that there is some other 'clue' to the identity of the sender. I know it doesn't alter the fact that this person has LM's email address, but they might at least be banned from the forum. It may be a short-term thing, but it's something.

Also if it appears LM's email address has 'leaked' through the site then that's a concern for them.

LM if I'm correct in my understanding that they are emails then block them in your email software outlook or whaever you may be using, also report them to your ISP.
those are good suggestions. Setting up a filter to send messages from that person straight to the bin would be the way I'd have to do it, I'm sure there is a way LM can do it.

you are not a bad mother, so dont put yourself down, easier said than done i know, i have been there too. remember to look after yourself, and dont feel guilty, as a mum you need to stay fit and well in order to care for your kids.
the gp will not say you cant cope and take your kids away, if they did mine would have been taken along time ago. your gp will hopefully support you,

morning all, not feeling too great this morning, was woken very early by joshua, and then the arguments started, and of course a 13 year old knows everything, he was insisting his school was reopening today, when in fact both schools are closed yet again. finally got him to ring school to confirm it as he would not believe me.
so yet another long boring day, in the house with kids that are so bored and fed up, cant go out cos not safe in car, and i'm in pain so cant walk far.
to top it all i've got a builder in today, so there will be lots banging and noise,
had enough already, feel like curling up in bed and hiding, if only that was a possibility

budget, don't worry about what people will think, I've too bene in a similar position and I've actually found the opposite of what you worry, which is that people go out of their way to help you with the kids. Obviously I don't know what help you are already getting so it's difficult to say what might be out there but I've mentioned previously support I get from social care, Home Start and so on.

I too also have the same thing you do, which is that when things are evening out is when I end up seeing the GP rather than in the thick of things so to speak so I get utterly convinced he thinks I'm a hypochondriac (I know he doesn't think this btw but I do worry!)

shaz - I know that feeling... So far I'm not sure how today will go, I spent up til about half past three in the morning dozing on the sofa then DD1 came down as she'd woken up so I went up with her, intending to be until she went back to sleep but woke up when heard OH getting up for work just about 7am  My legs, hips and back are not thanking me for curling up all squishy!

There's playgroup in a bit so might go with DD2, I mention it quite a bit as she really enjoys it, just wish it was longer than 2 hours. Then have a stretch of afternoon ahead, was planning on doing a little baking as DD1's birthday tomorrow but I'm not too optimistic about my visions of a birthday cake LOL!

Anyway got to get DD2 changed and dressed so can take DD1 to school - checked online and doesn't say it's shut so assuming it's open as usual. See you all later xxx
