I remember on these boards last year that Tesco were a real big let down then as well.

Oh my word. It's a good job my wife's out this morning a her roses have arrived from Valueflora.

Less than half of what was ordered, and a message card which looks as though it was created by a 5 year old with celotape. It's really not good enough even after the QUIDCO savings and Discount code (final price £29.99).

Anyone else received theirs from Valueflora?

Here you go... £30 of flowers...

Anyway dleafe, how obvious should I not be, being married?

**EDIT - Here's the finely printed card too (using a seventies card design, a badly cut out strip of text and some celotape!) Unbelievable.

Sorry the photos aren't very clear, I'm using my phone as the camera's on charge.

Although I was most certainly not impressed with their first attempt, since contacting them to let them know I'd only recieved 11 of the 24 roses, a message card looking like it'd been crafted by an infant, and some form of disease evident on the underside of the leaves, valueflora have come up trumps... dealing with the issue promptly and courteously.

The OH received 24 very beautiful roses today. They were fresh, well packaged and pretty much the best roses I'd ever seen... just to velvety and rich and deep red.

I would consider using valueflora again.

That's great! It's a shame they weren't what they should be the first time. i wonder how many other people didn't get what they want first time.
on a slightly different note, my sister ordered the valentines special from the bakin boys, 8 muffins and a candy posing pouch. but her boyfriend only got 12 muffins. apparently they'd run out of the valentine special, but didn't bother to ring to tell her, just sent an alternative which isn't very good imo. a shame as they're normally a very good company in my experience!

Having searched for the best deal for roses I ordered a dozen red roses for £15.94 for my Mum for Valentines Day, from Asda Flowers. Placed the order online the Thursday before.

Valentines Day came and went, then on the 15th, the flowers were delivered at 3.30 in the afternoon!!!!!

Needless to say I was not happy and immediately called their customer service centre. The call was put through to a call centre and they took my name/details/number etc and said someone would call me back. (ha ha)

I called a second time on the Thurs and again got put through to the call centre who could do nothing except take my name/details etc and asked if there was a convienient time for someone to call me back. I said NOW, but of course that wasn't possible, so gave another time. Guess what ........ no one did!

I phoned a third time, they took name/details etc asked for a convienient time to call back etc .................
Finally on the Friday I got a call!!! I spoke to a very apolagetic lady called Katie who said they would of course give me a full refund.
That's a great result for me as a money saver, however, I wonder how many other people were also dissappointed with this poor service. And why have a customer service number that is just a glorified answering service. The reason I called when I did was because it was convenient to do so, so why then should I have to give another time for them to call me!!! Absolute madness and poor customer service in my opinion.

What to you all think - have you had similar problems?
