    It seems like this stupid strike will go on for ages! The workers that are striking just need a kick up the *** and told to get back and actually do something for a change!
  • This is possibly a silly question, but I have never been on strike, never thought about striking and have no idea how it works.... so am i right in presuming that they do not get paid whilst striking?

    As far as I know, Royal Mail won't pay them. Does Unions not have money set aside so staff get something.

    Although this is unoffical with their union so I'm wondering if they give them anything...

    Listen to Steven Nolan's program of last Wednesday where Royal Mail would not go on the program to give their point of view!!!

    Breaking News:

    Post staff "could return to work"
    ........Postal staff in Belfast could go back to work within 24 hours if they are assured they will not be victimised when they return, their union has said........
    .....However, Royal Mail said that it believed it had already answered the union's concerns.....

    Exam papers stuck in post strike

    Apparantly results could be delayed because exam papers are stuck in the sorting office!
