Yes, but I think you didnt look down at 3.1
We will take all resonable steps o make the Services avaliable to you at all times. The Services are only avaliable within the range of the base stations that make up our Network (The Electonic Communications system by which Orange makes Services avaliable in the United Kingdom). We cannot guarantee a continous fault free system.0 -

Its similar to using the minutes counter on nokia phones but its still not the same as getting the minutes total from the network0 -
Mine is giving me a balance from 20th Jan.
I found the remaining minutes service is pretty much useless.0 -
3.4The network and the Services may from time to time require upgrading, modification, maintenance, or other works. These may result in some or all of the Services becoming temporarily unavailable. In such cases, we'll do everything we can to keep the period of non-availability to a minimum. However, some interruption may be inevitable.
You have a contractual dispute with Orange about a difference of opinion whether this is happening. The post at 1.14am says so. That is a different matter, between unfair terms and unfair behaviour. You allege breach of contract; that is a legal issue which not Ofcom but ultimately the law must arbitrate.
Unless any lawyers want to express an opinion?
In a previous dispute, about 07744 numbers, Ofcom said that it was a matter between the network and its customers what charges were made and did not intervene. But, neither did it support the position of other networks alleging misuse of these numbers. In that case, Ofcom's position about whether T&C are fair might have applied to Orange's [temporary lack of] disclosure of change of policy, but not to the change itself.0 -

I think they are talking about the coverage and general usage service, not the one we are discussing."Money saving is often a science, investment is often an art."...MSE0 -
It defines Services as Network and other Services, including Orange additional Services, provided or procurred by us.
And from what they say when you phone it is an additional service that Oraneg are providing about the minutes whenever you phone CS0 -
Sorry for going off topic, when logged into my account via the Orange webpage where do I find out my remaining minutes?
Thanks
Pdog0 -
you need to register your phone, and then once its done, itll appeaer on the account, then you click on remaining minutes0

orange once told me i had 1050 mins. remaining day before my billing date, which was rather a surprise as my monthly allowance is 200 mins.
needless to say when i did contact them by landline they said their computers system was down and there must have been an error!
typical!Nice to save.0
