mitchaa you are very wrong about me, i have already answered that in a previous post, i understand what you are saying but do i really have to explain the whole story including the back ground? i think that answer is no.

yes i made a mistake, i stupidly thought that what the ex was telling me that night ment that we were going to get back together, i mean after 10 years of being together and then splitting up i thought we might have still had a chance at being together. it must be fantastic to NEVER have made a mistake and alwys had a perfect life.

this certainly wasnt the way i wanted my life, i studied at school and recived my gcses, i had a decent job and worked the 10 years that we were together. i also still worked most of the time being a single parent, until i ws paid off.

i am not work shy, in fact i am at 3 different training groups through out the week in the mornings where i am reciveing training on computer skills, life skill and back to work skills. i would love to be able to go back to work but now im in a predicament where im pregnant and noone is going to employ me now.

i also already live in a house (not council) and have no disire to put myself on the list as i dont need a different house and there are people that are homeless that would need a council house far more then me.

although yes you are right bout some people doing what you say please dont tar us all with the same opionion, i hope that you or a close family/friend never have to go through this because then they will be judged. why? because they asked for advice.

ADVICE being the main word here, not a slating not accusations. not being accused of benifit fraud.

AFAIK when someone is on your ignor list and one of their posts gets quoted you can see it.

Okay i've taken your point on board and i still stand by my opinion, as have many others Krisskross for 1.

You can't convince everyone unfortunately, perhaps its best you scrap this account and start posting again under your usual username.

Im not sure the point of this thread to begin with You were obviously worried about the fraud squad in order to start this thread and seek reassurance? If not, why the point of this thread?

Anyway, there's no point in carrying it on, you've convinced 90%, and i supect you have got the reassurance that you were after.

Maybe i am too suspicious but i dont see that as a bad quality, as if i believe everything i was told and read, then that would be 100 times worse than having too suspicious as a bad quality.

Surely though you do expect a fraud investigation? On paper looking at the facts you are having a 2nd baby with the same man but yet claiming to be single.

Now, what excuses do you think most people would use to get out of the above??

This is going to raise suspicion in anyones eyes as for every 100 cases of the above, i suspect 99 of them will be genuine cases of where the mother wants to remain single for benefits reasons but wants a family also.

I thought these boards were here to help people! op is probably feeling quite emotional as it is without certain people accusing her of anything they want! If you dont have something nice to say, whether its advice or just support then why post it at all? surely you have better things to do!

I think alot of people are guilty of sleeping with the ex, I have been there myself many many times, clearly I was being stupid thinking that it meant something and that my ex might want to get back with me and be a family!

I have never claimed a State Benefit in my life, other than Child Benefit which everyone with a child gets. I will get my State Pension (that I have worked and paid for) next year.

I am glad that I have never been in a position to have to do so.

The reason this board is not for judgement is so that people are not scared to come here and ask advice about benefits. If they are asking advice on how to commit Bnenefit fraud, (and there are some thatdo) they are given very short shrift.

You have no evidence to state these things about the OP who came here asking for help.

I realise some people are too fragile but i haven't got that impression from the O.P in her responses to my accusations.

I am only replying because i am being prompted too, if i am not prompted to reply, then i wont.

Im happy to leave it there, but if im getting continual abuse from people who dont agree with my opinion, then of course i am going to respond to defend myself.

I have 1 opinion, the majority of you are agreeing with the O.P, now move on. Perhaps its due to the fact i am male and do not understand the emotions of sleeping with an ex hoping for family commitments

Possibly hit the nail on the head there.
I did it with My sons father, and with this babys dad who in the end we got back togther, but unfortunately it doesnt always end up that happily.
