Not going to get much flying done today.....I am meeting a friend for coffee this morning, then driving 45 miles to meet DS for lunch, then I will take him to Mr.S to stock up ( he is at uni, so lives on student food  ) so at least I will know he is Ok whilst I am indisposed :rotfl:

So I will catch up with you all later, have a good day xx

    I'm stuck at home again!

One of my team IM'd me to tell me to listen to the traffic news and they'd heard about a jack knifed lorry in Aldermaston (no, not on the website), so listened... problems on the M4, checked the website, a couple of other problems that took out two options, called my boss - he's in a jam on the other route, and has so far seen three accidents and a fire engine & ambulance went past while he was on the phone to me. He knows the road I live on and thinks I should stay at home... .

It's very frustrating that the websites aren't up to date with the latest information.

So I'll have a day of teleconferences which should be fun. Supposed I should go and get dressed so I can pretend I'm thinking about going in later ;)
  • Urrrmm I have both. Use the small hand held for quick jobs (it was a freebie from the catalogue) And the big one (£30 price drop, eletec model - my other one died) I use for the big patio windows, serious deep cleaning freshening up of furniture, matresses - they really do feel so much cleaner after this. carpets, defrosting the freezer - makes the job soooo much easier and quicker etc etc

Oh, I didn't realise you could use it for so many things!

K, I've stripped my bed and that's now in the WM, finished loading the DW with a few bits and that's set away too....I need to take off the instant glazing in my bedroom so I can clean the windows they haven't been done for over a year.....but.....they've been covered up and I cleaned them beforehand :D alas it's ripped now so today's the day it comes off.

Carlsberggal Not sure what you mean re: your post cause I am notorious for missing some (did you mean your DS one? ) but don't worry about it and certainly don't stop posting, I like your posts :) x

Suppose I'd better sup ths brew quick smart, then get me boots on and get to work

have a great day ladies :hello:

    Welcome new people :)

Arrgh just remembered it's messy church this afternoon and W's swim lesson so Miss A decluttering her bedroom will be severely restricted or even postponed :(

But think I have managed to get W's lesson swapped to a Sat morning when the next batch of lessons start in a couple of weeks so that should ease things, will be the same time as Miss A's.

OK car brought up here, about to go to Morrisons, anyone want anything?

  • Bit delayed in my HHF, by children taking ages getting off to school  I've put out the recycling and started to tidy the kitchen. Need to do some more in there, next. Having some jam on a fresh bread crust, then I'll be back to it.

Anyone for another HHF 9:20 - 9:50
