It's fab...it's still taking ages because the cooker is soooooo horribly dirty but the steam cleaner eats its way through the grease. Have made note not to lend to friend until I've finished with it!
My sister gets to use it next week as she is at Dad's for the week so will give his house a good clean around - I'm hoping she'll have to leave it behind, I don't think they'll let her take it on the plane back to Germanny :rotfl:Piglet

Went to work... checked the travel news VERY carefully before I left. It appears that they didn't think it necessary to mention that the road I use to get there was COMPLETELY UNDER WATER  at one point... anyway, I got through without any problems, but there were WAVES!!!
Went straight from work to my training course on school finance, which was useful, then came back, did the report I forgot to do for work today, made supper, bunged a few things in the DW, ate and caught up on the thread.
Re. the gas pressure. I haven't personally noticed anything, but will look out for it.
As far as your bills are concerned, it should be an issue, as the calorific value of the gas is measured by national grid at numerous points across the country on a pretty much continuous basis (which is why the calculation to convert from cubic meters or feet is different in each area).
But its also a good reason for you to submit regular meter readings, so that your bills can be calculated more accurately!!!
When siting gas meters, put them in the coolest place available (outside, shaded, north or west wall), so that the gas is as dense as possible when going through the meter... you'll get more energy for your money (not much, but every penny helps!) as the gas will be slightly denser.
Your gas transporter is responsible for maintaining gas pressure, so its worth checking who this is. For most people it is National Grid, but in new developments you may well have an Independent Gas Transporter (IGT)... it's likely that you'll be aware of this, as most suppliers pass on a charge for this and itemise it on your bill.
I'll make some enquiries and let you know if I find anything out.0 -

Father Christmas brought one for Miss A (aged 9, going on 40 :rotfl:) and she loves it, so does W (aged 6)
She has brain training, cake mania, deal or no deal, nitendogs (sp) and one of the mario games. Faves seem to be mario, nitendogs and cake mania. W loves mario as well and is forever asking to have a go. They both sit there shouting 'Bryn come here boy' at the dog one! Enough to drive you crazy as they get obssessed with 'having to walk the dog' :rotfl:
Father Christmas got a deal from Argos for Miss A, would recommend a case of some description for when you are out and about. I can see W asking for his own DS for Christmas  this year. They have not broken it between them so far, don't think it would take too kindly to dropping from a height but normal wear and tear I reckon would be ok.
