  • Well day 2 on my concerted effort to get back in control and am pleased to report Level 1 done!!! yeah:T am sitting admiring my efforts - only have to work out how to declutter a few of DS3 toys that are overtaking living room. For the first time youngest 2 in bed and asleep by 8.30 - has been knocking on for 10 some days - i did DW, Wm and a loaf of bread and kitchen tidy up while DD11 finished watching holby so by 9 I was caught up - did an hours work (fire risk assesment) another load of washing, set table for breakfast, and my asda online food shop. this is the most i have managed in an evening for a long time. Just waiting for Wm to finish its 2nd load and then to bed before 12 for the first time:T

Bring on day 3!!! Although am going for a curry 2morrow so may not be quite as organised tomorrow.

Have just boiled the kettle for hot water bottles. No problems here. Cooking times are unchanged, so no issues in either pressure or calorific value...!

No flying either. Good thing I got so much done yesterday! Hope to get some done tomorrow night, in between baking session for work.

Hugs to all those who need them.

Mudbath - you obviously STILL don't have enough to do. If Toots doesn't have any extra jobs for you, I suggest you descale all your taps - soak cloths in vinegar and wrap them round the taps. Cover in plastic/cling film and tie on with string/elasctic bands. Leave for as long as possible. You can descale the shower head while you're at it.

Oh yes... and ebay the squirrel suit. You'll frighten stripes!

    Morning All

Kids climbed into bed with me at 4.50 and I got up not long after. DS has now got up - he told me last night he'd had a nightmare the night before so I'd told him to think about nice things and then he'd be alright - so he's just said that thinking about nice things didn't work as he's just had a nightmare about a jellyfish swimming into his swimming trunks - I had to stop myself laughing!

DD is still in my bed so I can't strip it yet.

Going to do a HHI and then probably strip the bed.

    Morning all

Greenbee - thanks. I guess I'm national grid as the 'development' I live in was build bit by bit over 100 years ago!

Am struggling to wake up this morning. The alarm went off when I was in the middle of a complicated dream and I had to force myself to get up. Hate it when that happens!

Icy roads out there in places this morning so be careful everyone.

I will fly when I get home

    good morning all.

have stripped bed already and about to empty wm from last nights wash and hang it up, then i will get the bedding on before i go to work!

About the DS lite. My Son will be 7 on tuesday and Santa brought him one for xmas, not just passed, but the one before, and he loves it. Each christmas and birthday that has passed, hes collected more games, so now he has a few.

Kung Fu Panda, Star Wars Lego (which is the favourite), Animal Crossing (waste of time and money), Sonic Rush, FAntastic Four Silver Surfer and one of the mario games.

I would recommend the lego star wars, all of this little mates who come round all love it and seems to be genuinely popular amongst little boys!! Kung Fu Panda second, then mario.

He is after the Ben 10 game for his birthday this time..... he doesnt know that he is going to Disney though!
