hex - I know now that you and greenbee and the others were not moaning - dont worry about it - it is only me taking things too seriously!!! Its me who should be apologising!!! I get wound up when I do things as I try to do them perfectly - thats my problem - I am a perfectionist and its not healthy!!!!

sexy you are another thats too fit!!! well done with the crosstrainer - thats impressive! I hope the brakes are just a faulty light/sensor - anyway they would be under his guarantee as they were done so recently!
nicki hugs for LO that sounds really painful but at least she has 2 weeks to recover properly - try not to catch it!
kamperkat - scary list! I am sure you will pass the inspection just fine.
denisenz hope you get the toothache sorted today and enjoy BC - he is great!
I have had avery non-productive afternoon by accident!

I was just about to go to the post office whent he door bell went and there was a very elderly lady there - she had come to the wrong door but couldnt remember the name of the people she was looking for so I couldnt help her with the right address. then she explained that she lived in the next street and had locked herself out and had come looking for these people she knew to get help. She was in a right state so I took her in and phoned the locksmith for her. he said he would be about an hour which was ok - I made her a cup of tea and she began to relax. we chatted for an hour and then she was a getting agitated about keeping me back - anyway it turned out that her daughter teaches at a school about 10 miles away and she had an extra key but she didnt want to tell her as the daughter has been on about her going into a home!!! The locksmith phoned back at 4.20 to say he had broken down and was waiting for the RAC:eek: Well she had to give in and we phoned the school only to find that her daughter was in a training meeting and wouldnt be here until 5.30! She did arrive abot 5.40 so that was 3 hours chatting to this lady - I am worn out and have got nothing done on my list!!!
The lady phoned from her own home to say thanks and said that her daughter wasnt too cross so that was good.

    tootsxx

Ithink you have been a very good samaritan Toots and personally think you deserve an evening off for doing such a good deed, it makes me feel a lot better about the human race(lots of crazies out there!!!)

    Getting there.......slowly.
DD had speech theropy today and the woman thinks another appointment and then she'll have 6 weeks off, then do 6 weeks and thats her finished for good. I know in her head she knows what she is on about it's the getting it out is the problem.
Went shopping today and got myself  a pair of maternity jeans and 2 jumpers then adams had boxes out for things at £1 so got a belt for DS and sunglasses and new p.e bag for DD and a lovely woolie hat + gloves for the baby. So i'm now all shopped out and broke.:rotfl:

Nicki and GnB big hugs to your LO's.
Toots that is so nice of you to do that.
Big hugs to everyone else that needs one.

    "Question"
We have oil heating but haven't put anything in for about 3 years, don't even know if it will work. So we are going to buy a couple of emergancy drums later on in the week (just to see before we order oil), does anyone know how long they should last, how many hours?
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
    :j :j
