How can I promote (outside of Ebay) a very special item I am selling on Ebay?

I wouldn't pay £5,000 for that, never mind ten grand lol
Think she's just trying to get publicity on here by mentioning it, though I doubt she will sell it. It's old!~What you send out comes back to thee thricefold!~~0 -

If its a one off as described by the OP then isnt that unique...
Or should I say its not a One Off....0 -
Okay, one-off and unique is the same, but we meant the car in the article and the car up for auction are one and the same.:wall:0

The highest profile automobile sale of recent was the James Bond DB7 Q car. Sold for $2.1mil a couple of weeks back in the US.
Interesting vehicle VixxAnn. Maybe you should take a punt with a very low start auction. I was guessing before it was revealed that you might've been selling either something edible with an image of a religious figure on it or some sort of ghost in a jar. All the best!I know nothing0 -
 Sorry ... but I think it's quite ugly. Can't see what the fascination is about it!
Good luck with the sale though!0 -
Sorry, but even Royal Mail have stopped using Sherpa vans.I'm back after a break :money:0

plus vat too!!!0

Woah - good job I'm not easily offended folks
The vehicle IS a unique one off - it is THE same vehicle as in the article mentioned, as the person that wrote that review drove this actual vehicle - believe me there is only one of these in the world - it is NOT a sherpa or council van - Good god folks have you no glamour or style!
As for newsworthy - well I think in the motoring industry it is - and the rest of you don't know what you're talking about if you cannot see why. (sorry but I have to have my chance to have a bit of a dig back at you all now!)

Vixxann, a couple of thoughts. Firstly can you check the regs on adding VAT as I seem to recall that you need to show your VAT reg number if you are adding VAT as a trader on ebay. Secondly still on the VAT issue, I would make the size of the wording more visible as it isn't obvious enough for some people and I think you may have problems if someone overlooks that point.
Lastly, have any of the motoring press promised to run a story yet?
