How can I promote (outside of Ebay) a very special item I am selling on Ebay?

    I have to agree in that I don't think the auction is special enough to pick up any press interest.

    There have been special cars that have hit the press, the most recent one I can think of is a car previously owned by the pope, but nothing else really springs to mind.

    Also I think Freddie Mercury's Rolls Royce was on there recently but the reserve wasn't met.

    then again, i think cars are the biggest waste of money.......people really do throw money away on cars just to keep up with the joneses.

    ... dont get your hopes up.

    Also of note, im not sure ebay allow you to add another 17.5% on top to cover fees and therefore attract the attention of the listing too much and you cld be removed!
