I'll look out for them today when I'm out.
I made the recipe on the Sw board the other day, for beetroot and potato..................................I love beets and pots, but this meal was awful!
Don't recommend wasting time on making it or eating it. Have a nice butternut squash soup made up for today...........syn free of course.

I made a lovely Red Pepper and Sweet Potato soup last night, having some for my lunch today, the only syns in it are the stock cube - so minimal. It was yum and I can recommend it (even if i do say so myself!!)

I also heard about potato and baked bean pie - layers of baked beans and sliced (par-boiled) pototo, with a sprinkling of cheese (from Healthy extra's) and bake in oven. Syn free - haven't tried it yet though!

Don't be disappointed. 2lb is great! It's better to keep it slowly and steady, more likely to stay off that way!
Looking forward to the recipe later -
having my soup at the minute - its yummy!!

I was so hungry after reading some of the recent posts (including my own post about the canelloni) that i went home (normally have lunch at work) and scarfed the leftovers with a big portion of mushy peas. I may burst now, but it was totally worth it.

I think i'll attempt a soup this weekend. My blender hasn't been used for about 2 years and have never made a soup in my life but i'm willing to give it a go...just have to make sure i put the lid on. :o

Heres a recipe i found posted somewhere else but its one i use and 1 both me and my 2 fussy kids really enjoy

    1. Shakin' Beef

    Beef strips,
spring onions split into thin strips (including the
bits you normally discard if they
    aren't too manky)
Red onions cut into small sections.
Garlic (to taste) cut or pressed
    ginger (to taste)
    Fresh coriander
a little lemon grass - optional

all of the above marinated in lemon juice and light soy sauce. leave for about an hour.

fry off in a pan. The marinade will reduce and thicken slightly to create a sauce. I serve it over rice .

If a red day use brown rice as a healthy extra
If a green day use beef as a healthy extra. Otherwise it's free.
Use Quorn instead of meat totally free.

really easy, very easy! Replace beef with other meat if you prefer - I just think it works well with the beef.

    enjoy :)

Hope you don't mind me jumping in but I need a good kick up the a*se or something, I was a target member at SW and have 'fallen off the wagon', I lost over 2 stone and it's slowly piled back on - well a stone and a half of it. I'm still going to SW and it's a brilliant class, but you know when life kinda takes over and dieting is no longer your top priority.... trouble is I'm so annoyed with myself and I'm giving myself such a hard time over it. I've been so good all week and tonight is weigh in and I've just scoffed a creme egg, pkt of french fries and a mini swiss roll and I don't particularly like chocolate - ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Am I talking to myself or wot?!
