You will feel very slim just standing next to some of the people you see in Florida, it's great for the self esteem LOL.

You can always eat plain steak and undressed salad, fruit.....but don't forget you are on holiday and enjoy, you can always work a bit harder when you back.

Yeah i was thinking that. We are staying in a S/C villa so breakfast isnt a problem. Was thinking we could also make some packed lunches some days to avoid eating out all the time and we plan to have a few BBQ's a few nights. There is a pool at the villa too - I might make an extra effort to get into it each day :rotfl: I do like swimming though.
At the end of the day its a holiday of a life time and I am going to enjoy it - I just won't go too mad and blow the diet completly!

but i really love rice and pasta (unsure if there is a low carb option)
You can definitely get low carb pasta, it's a hangover from the Atkins diet. But it seems to cost a LOT more than 'normal' pasta, and I've heard that it doesn't taste as nice.

Just simmering a tin of tomates makes a tasty sauce!

PS forgot to say all my bits are crossed for you suewre, and don't be too despondent if they say "no", I know it's REALLY hard, and don't begrudge yourself the money you're spending on you, we all need something!

concerning me sorting my weight out, its day 3, usually when ive had enough an eat everything i havent been able to, chippy smelt very nice this teatime, so i rang my cousin hoping she would keep me on the phone til the chippy closed.......her response "dont be daft go get some chips" so im daft now...

note to self: dont ask family for support or motivation.

Anyway i hung up the phone saying ok im off to get some just to shut her up......important thing is i didnt. :D feel really proud of myself now, even if my cousin does think ive given in already.

Woo hoo congrats flis on the job.... :j

Wow Sue - 2 st 8.5lb. Was all of this with SW?? Don't look at how much you have spent - look at the fact you have got 2 weeks free. And everyone deserves to treat themselves to something. At least you are not wasting the money on junk food!!! :D

Thanks to everyone for the info on the egg sarnie. Shocking!!!!
I'm working from home tomorrow, so I am going to have a red day to make up for today. Fruit/yoghurt for brekkie, home made free veg soup for lunch, and butterflied chicken and veg for dinner.
    What's he building in there???

How much did we over spend whilst on maternity leave
