Afternoon all, I am back from my lovely holiday and wish me luck because I am going for a weigh in tonight. My usual class is on Wednesday but I will be on a train so there is another near me tonight.

In my defence I was quite healthy in my choices of food, did loads more walking than usual but I did have 1 or 2 glasses of wine every night,:o I will post later and let you all know how much damage I have done;)

    Hi All,

Sue - how did your interview go? Mine was good, better than expected actually. They were supposed to be interviewing me for a nursery nurse position, but when I got in there they said they would like to consider me for a nursery teacher position instead, which is more money and more responsibility. Fantastic. So did the interview, without making any major !!!!-ups and think it all went well. They will let me know by Thursday if I have got it or not, so I will let you all know.

Did have a bit of the munchies this afternoon, stuck to low point snacks, but think I still had too many. Never mind, small dinner for me and some exercise tomorrow to burn it off!

Keren - is Monday your normal weigh in day - or have you just weighed yourself to see if the weekend did any damage?! I stayed the same on my 2nd week and was disapppointed - the thing is to keep at it and don't let this put you off - aren't you glad you didn't have those cakes in work last week. The main thing is you didn't put any weight on - that shows that you can socialise and enjoy yourself without putting weight on! Good for you!

Hi - yes, monday morning is my normal weigh -in. No cakes when everyone else had them, no chinese all you can eat night....I did have a few drinks Friday night, but with 7 stone to lose and my previous SW experience I'm very surprised the first two weeks haven't gone much better.

Will have a red day tomorrow and take it from there.

Finally managed to get the kids off of the computer so I could come on here and post. I think it went well, they are interviewing a couple more people, then they will make their decision. I think it went ok, It is for a 20 hours a week admin assistant job. 10-2 5 days a week, so it would fit in great around the kids. The job is a new one, created by reorganisation in the company, so hopefully (assuming I get the job) there would be a chance of progress / increased hours as the years go on.

I guess like any other interview, a lot depends on what sort of person they are looking for, and what the other candidates are like. At least I felt confident with my hair / make-up / clothes. I am going to try not to build my hopes up though, I get really down when I don't get a job.

    Today I had (green day)

frozen berries/banana/yogurt for breakfast - all free

jacket potato, 3 x dairylea light, beans for lunch - the dairylea are either an (a) or (b)

    12 almonds for a snack - (b)

We have just had dinner - I did meatballs and spaghetti, and I had the sauce with spaghetti - I made the sauce myself and it was free (tin toms, onion, mushrooms, peas and sweetcorn blended together)

with milk for coffee being an (a) choice, I can either have another (a) or (b) if I want it, or not bother as it is weigh in tomorrow.

Decided to start eating breakfast, just a piece of fruit im not that hungry in the morning.
Is it right that your body uses carbs as energy? so if i cut down on the carbs (i eat loads of bread, pasta, potatoes) my body will start using my fat instead?? Oh i do hope so.

And thankyou to every1 for making me sooo welcome :T

My 2nd week weigh-in today.................really disapointed that I only lost 1lb, but not disheartened at all which surprised me.
I know I've stuck to the plan and haven't cheated, so maybe I'll lose more next week? I really thought I'd lost another 4lb this week (even though I was aiming for 2lb), I feel like 'Twiggy', so the inches must be decreasing. I haven't measured myself yet.
I have for dinner tonight the beetroot meal, featured on the SW website, it looks very bland and took me about 2hrs to make and wash up after myself.................I'll let you know what it tastes like tomorrow.
Does the password change on the SW website weekly/monthly? If so when can we get the next password please?

WoooooHoooooo I stayed at the same weight I was before I went away....now I need to get back on track and start losing some lbs. I am cutting out the wine for a few weeks as it worked for me before.

Good luck to everyone for this week.

I think the password is Mango this week if it helps.
