I was so good yesterday, that I weighed myself today and had put on 2lb!!!!!!!!!!
    How is that possible??
So I'm taking cheekymoles advice and hiding the scales from myself till next Monday (my proper day!).
The last few nights (middle of the night 2am-4am), I have had a real craving for milk and biscuits. I have no idea why, as I'm not a biscuit person and have an intolerance to cows milk (have to use soya).
So the night before last I told my husband.........................and he's hidden the biscuit barrel!
They hold no temptation to me during the day at all, and he doesn't eat biscuits ever, so luckily I won't be searching for them.
Just eating my porridge now, then popping out to Lewisham market for loads more fruit and veg.
Good Luck everyone with getting through today.............we can do it :)

It would have been healthier if i wasn't so lazy! I wanted to make cottage pie but i was tired when i got home and couldn't really be bothered to mess around with veggies so i ended up doing the potatoes then skipping the carrots etc! Decided instead to empty a can of baked beans in with the quorn mince and, as you can imagine, it turned out quite well!

Lilac - now i'm craving biscuits!

Man, if work was more exciting then maybe i'd stop fantasising about food. Maybe. :p

Hello again all I'm better now!! Thank you for all the good wishes. I'm feeling a bit down after being ill all week & with my shoulder still painful too it has not been a good time. I have tried to be good with the food this week but I have not been as good as I usually am. Tonight I'm going to a wedding, tomorrow another couple who are soon to marry are taking us out...for a curry. I know I will have Korma Curry and a Peshwari naan even if I intend not to - I know I will as it's about the only Indian food I like and I really like it!! Then it's Mothering Sunday...I so hope I do not get chocolate. What an old moaner I am!!! Just thought of something good....clocks go forward this week meaning longer evenings yipee.

Cheekymole you crack me up poor LL......but now I guess we all are wondering the same thing!!

Mostly red - I eat a lot of chicken. I make up a salad in the morning, pop it in the fridge and snack when I want to and I keep at least one apple in my bag to stop me buying choccy!

Those lovely people from tesco sent me a tiny trial bar of Green & Black's butterscotch (yum) chocolate and I made that do me for three days. I 'savoured' it and sat down with a cup of coffee and really enjoyed it. I'm able to do that at the moment because I haven't been on the diet that long but I know that a time will come when I'll be running around the house for loose change to go and buy some bar or other - but I'm gonna be strong (sounds like a line from a song;) )......hopefully!!!! In fact, when that day comes, I'll sign on here instead!

    Elaine - welcome!
Well done Chris 3lb is brilliant.

Glad to hear you are better Cotsvale
I have to admit that i am like LL and NixNoo - I am on and off the blooming scales like a yoyo - before the loo, after the loo, before team, after tea, in the morning!! My OH thinks I'm mad :rotfl: I have cut it down to a few times a week - but I think that I will take Cheekymole's advice and stick them in the roofspace! I'll be like a beaten bear after a few days!!

OH is at work tonight so just making tea for kids and myself - I am going to try the baked bean pie.
Is the new SW mag out ? My consultant mentioned that it would be out soon but she hadn't got it in time for class this week - I know that its cheaper there but I might nip out and get it so I can read it when kids are in bed and to keep me away from the biscuit tin tonight while OH is working! The extra 75p(or whatever it is) will be worth it! :rotfl:
