I met my 2 son's for lunch today, in an American Diner! Everyone was guzzling burgers and chips (not my usual choice of food anyhow) but I really wanted some, seeing every one else eat it.
I had a chicken breast, salad sandwich with no butter or marg. I felt so good and am still feeling good about it.
I hope it shows on the scales next week. It better!!!!!!

Hi Cheekymole,
Yes sort of.I've signed up online and have read nearly all the posts on here.Having giving up smoking-I'm trying not gain the weight I normally do! So i usuially have a yo-yo diet.On/off smoking diet.Thought I'd try the healthy way.I've been doing ok and then went away last week for 5 days and gained 4lbs! I think it was the bar of choccie every night that did that.
Can't stop nibbling especially in the evening and miss my choc.I could eat everything before i gave up smoking!
Thanks for your welcome and please bear with me on my typing errors0 -
Welcome to all the new comers (listen to me, only been on here a week myself!!!!
)
Congrats on the 7lb loss flis!!!! :T
Sue - thanks for your post. I think sometimes it takes something like that to make you realise how heavy you have got. Hope your health is ok now.
I too have a large amount to lose - would like to lose approx. 7 stone, but trying not to think of it as one large milestone.
I feel like i have a very dull light-bulb at the moment, :mad: and need inspiration. OH and I are off to a wedding this weekend, and i keep thinking, i'll start properly after this, 'cos i am only gonna stuff myself and drink loads. I know this is not the way to think, and i should minimise the damage, but feel quite down at the moment.
Hope everyones cold get better soon.
