I have three reward accounts on top of my regular "high" interest current account at Halifax. For some reason they did not flag up my current account when I opened the "we'll give you £5 per month for virtually nothing" accounts.

What I cannot understand is why Halifax thought anyone needs three reward accounts in the first place. They are meant to be like regular current accounts, so why would anyone need three of them at one bank? Of course people (me included) are going to play the game if they do not think about what they are offering before they offer it.

Yes. £5 is a lot of extra money each month.
