Evening all. I've been quite busy today:
Rang my mobile company regarding my mysterious cancelled direct debit that had caused my bill to go unpaid! Actually got an English person on phone who was lovely and set it up again!
Checked online bank account
Photocopied ID to send to bank so they will open a savings account for me
As a new DFW I hadn't signed up for most of the survey sites so joined onepoll and did a few surveys and got 25p and a £2.50 joining bonus!
Did my daily scratchcard and got 20p
Made a list of presents I need in the next few months and had a look on ebay- I've sold a few things and have £50 on paypal account so I'm going to use it for the presents!
Saved some money by doing all this in bed so didn't have to turn on the heating :cheesy:
Also going to see OH later but have decided to walk and get him to leave me home- exercise will do me good and my fuel budget will stretch a bit further lol! Must remember to put the hi vis on!0 -

Just off for shower and then to bed, one of oldies just decided to set fire to their flat with a cigarette so just had visit by two engines and ten hunky firemen:D Everyone okay but a bit scary for my oldie who was asleep in bed when fire alarm went off and fire was in her bedroom:eek:
Need a shower before I go to bed as stink of smoke, thank god for our lovely firemen:T :T0 -
Hi everyone
   Sophies Mum! Sorry to hear about your stressful night. Hope you catch up on your rest today!
Didn't manage to post yesterday - went food shopping, did a trawl of the charity shops in the snow and ice (bought 2 books), then went home and got caught up with weekend papers and cooking a large shepherds pie!
Today I will:
Cook breakfast for OH and I - Sunday treat, and use some eggs from my chooks!
Check online banking
See to animals
DD and her BF over for supper, so do a nice roast (whoopsied meat from the freezer - outdoor reared pork, and kale from the garden if I can find it under the snow :T )
Put small change from yesterday into piggy bank. I find 1p, 2p and 5p coins really annoying in my purse, especially those horrid little 5ps, but they do mount up if you save them
Finish cleaning grotty house
Make some soup for lunches at work for part of the week.
Have a nice day everyone:j0
