    Morning everyone

OMG SM, that's so scary! scared2.gif Lucky the firemen arrived on time fire.gif:)

    Not much DFWness yesterday:

Aldi shop then Sainsburys shop to get things we couldn't get in Aldi. Used MySupermarket so I think we got everything quite cheaply.

Went to cinema to see Doubt with free tickets from PT job (not a brilliant film)

2 glasses of wine for price of 1 - was on my own so was sneaky and got 2nd in large glass topped up with soda, then poured other one into it when there was space. Stopped me looking like an alkie! wine.gif

Bought a few more drinks after cinema for BF and his friend.

    Today:

Checked online banking - all fine as is Sunday

Have to go to the allotment today so will research planting garlic, apparently it is the last chance

Going to see Revolutionary Road with free tickets from PT job - if we have time

Lunch with BFs parents, Strada 2 for 1

Out tonight with work friends but shouldn't spend too much

    Daily scratches - 4 x 10p

    Have good days everyone xx

an extra big Goooooooooooooooooooooood Morning as I haven't been around for a few days:D

I will go and read the thread in a mo.

I got marooned at my Mum's on Friday. It was my day off work and I went to see her in Bournemouth . There was no forecast at all of bad weather her way . I got down there ok and then we went into town. When we were shopping there was a snow blizzard and then it didnt' stop snowing all day. I managed to safely drive us back to her flat (about 20 mins) but no way could I drive back to where I live as the snow was too heavy . So i stayed with her the night and came back yesterday - road v icy but took it easy. There was nothing where i live at all.

Soooooooooo today I will be doing ...

    - daily clicks
    - comps
    - scratchcards (2 x10p)
    - meant to be playing a tennis match today but not sure if it will be cancelled or not
    - been paid for my mystery shop
    - make some cards

    have a great day everyone:D

  • morning everyone- i hope your mum is ok, sophiesmum.
This weekend i have made a birthday present for my friend.
went to a night out which turned into a free hous party
storecupboard tea last night and tomorrow
attending sports centre open day for free gym classes.
    have a good weekend everyone.
  • Hi all
SM - hope your oldie is OK - must have been very scary and I bet it still smells of smoke everywhere. Hope you managed to get some sleep too.
Off to rugby soon so will be back later

    Getting there...slowly! :D

    GC : must do better
    NSD: very rare

No matter how slow I go I am lapping everyone on the couch.
  • Well, apart from a couple of hours the other evening, I've still not used the heating all Winter.
Now that the cheque has cleared, I'm using some time limited 0% money to pay off other stuff which is either at a higher interest rate or would have put me above my overdraft limit - incurring charges.
I made a small PAD to another CC.
Found 5k of spuds in Sainsbury's for £1.98.
Topped up the diesel tank on my van as it looks like the price is creeping up again.
Going to look at the finer print on some of my insurances today with a view to cancelling some of it (I have no dependents).
Going to do some work later once I've verified the temperature is above zero.
Brought my van hosereel in last night to avoid it freezing (it's in the kitchen LOL).
I do intend to finally update my sig tonight from the receipts I have as it is well out of date.
Will be banking some cash and cheques into the cashpoint a bit later.

  • Morning all

SM Glad your oldie is ok! I had a visit from hunky firemen when piglet locked himself in the house...wish I'd been in a less stressed state so I could have enjoyed it! lol!:rotfl:

    Another quiet day today:

    * Washing at 30'c
    * Airer drying
    * Drag piglet up to shops on blow up toboggan (he looked so cute doing that yesterday!!) to get butter and milk (if they have any:eek: )
    * Check on-line banking
    * Work out meal-plan for the week

    Thats about it for today.

    Miss P
    xx

  • Good Morning:hello:
Think it'll be a very quiet one today for me....darn Crohn's is playing me up and haven't the energy to do much!
    So here's a mini list...
    • Daily scratchcards...2 x 10p on L/w and TAB wont let me on at the mo;)
    • NSD maybe...can't be bothered to trudge up to the shops for the bits of food we need
    • ironing
    • check banking...all ok
    • heating on for now, but going off soon
That's all. I did my meal planner yesterday and the list to go with it - don't need much this week, thank goodness as I don't want to get the car out in the ice and snow:eek:
I really need to sort out a new signature!
