If I was you I would ring up and try for the points anyway, yhey didnt seem too worried about what time or day I bought it, just had a chat and she added the points, like I say I acted a bit vague and it worked.

7day Shop have two Nikon lenses at bargain prices:

    Nikon - AF Nikkor Lens - 28-100mm f/3.5-f/5.6 AF-G (Black) for £69 reduced from £179, and
    Nikon - AF Nikkor Lens - 70-300mm f4-5.6 AF-G - Black Version for £67.99 reduced from £149

    P&p is £3.95 I believe.

Anybody know if these lenses are any good, and why they seem to be so much cheaper than other similar Nikon lenses?

Also, are they compatible with the D50?

Let's remember that their is an optics change when using std lenses from 35mm format into digital of approx "x1.4". So that a 28 - 100 mm lens becomes 40 - 140 mm. You will lose your wide angle capability.
