I wouldn't call anyone wacky. We are all different. If everyone was the same, wouldn't the world be a boring place?:)Do more of what makes you happy:)0 -
Sunflower - before you buy a breadmaker have a look on your local freecycle and see if anyone has one listed, or request one, loads of people have them and don't use them. I have a panasonic that I saved for ages for and I love it, it's used every day, usually twice per day, and the bread is fantastic, finally discovered which yeast suits the bread we like and the results are really light. We eat so much bread between the six of us that making it myself would just take too much of my time, and I can use the panny to make dough for pizzas and french sticks and rolls without worrying about rising times and finding somewhere to put it.GC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£4000

lol. One of the best things about getting whacky is that you can wear hm A line skirts and very comfortable crocs one minute and cycling clothes the next and no-one bats an eyelid any more. I love it!!!

Its all plugged in now and ready to go and it must be my imagination but already my desk area feels fresher and airier
I have had to buy a mini usb charger for the indigo lantern, otherwise I`ll get hot winding it before bed and I`ll never get to sleep if I`m hot

gordon bennett!!!! my dh got in a bit of a tizz last night after hearing some doom and gloom stuff on the news from bush. It appeared that the world banks and economies were in imminent danger of meltdown and he even asked me if his pension was safe. I was able to reassure him that it was ( I look after it in a sipp) as it is spread around and he went to bed reassured but why all this stupid scaremongering, enough to cause panic through the whole world.
At he same time I am feeling cosy in my world as I know I have a good stockpile of foods and wind up gadgets and alternative ways of cooking. I feel like not listening to any more news. Life goes on0
