Well......its very tempting to just stay in bed...er...well...even more than usual. Wide, comfortable bed, soft lighting - bring in my stereo and some soothing music - err....just someone give me a nudge at intervals and remind me that I DO actually have to get up to go to w**k when necessary;)

Can I join please! Though I will be taking a bottle (or 6) of Red with me, bought via Tesco online with a voucher of course!0 -
One little point - I did read somewheres that the banks might "call in overdrafts" - so it does make sense if one has one to check when it comes to the end of the "year at a time" agreement banks make in the letter agreeing that one can have an overdraft. I wont check my agreement letter - I'm just going to pay back the little one that managed to appear again:mad: when I get my next bit of salary and will just have to grit my teeth and wait until the money is physically there before spending owt else except the most vital stuff.
I've always taken it for granted that the overdraft agreement will roll on from year to year and it has so far - I guess I'm not going to bargain on that anymore even though I still have that very good credit rating of mine and have always had whatever I want creditwise no problem. Errr....guess I've been a bit spoilt in that respect:cool:
Oh !!!!ity !!!!! I hadn't even thought about this. My bank has just recently renewed my annual overdraft, but I will have to broach the subject (carefully) with DH regarding the business overdraft! :eek:0 -
Mrs Littlemouse --me too. I eloped at 16 and gave my absolute all to my kids and my home. Now its just MEMEMEME ooops did that sound a tad selfish ? lol!0

i have done a quick search already on goggle and bbc news, but couldn't find anything. If the banks might even attempt to do this, we need to be prepared just in case, ie: open another account without od so wages can be paid in, otherwise, we could end up with no money for the month:eek:'If you judge people, you have no time to love them'

Yeah I'd like to see that link too....
Seriously I have been in MORTAL DREAD of the bank doing that to me for some time. My actual bank/branch did it to a friend of mine about 12 months ago, as they said she was "Using the facility too much" ???? So I've been waiting for the Axe to fall on me pretty much anytime, unless they are all too busy with the credit crunch to chomp down on small fry like me.
I can't actually REMEMBER the last time my current account was IN CREDIT??
OH wouldn't tell HIS bank that we were struggling, and ask about options for the mortgage either because our Mortgage is with the same bank as his current account (OD) and his Business account (also OD) He thought that if they got wind of things being difficult they'd throw the spanner in the works by pulling his business OD. I think they might have too.
His workshop goes next week, which is his biggest millstone, so we are hoping our situation improves a bit!
