    Aww thanks chaps :) need a rethink re stuff. TBH had kinda talked myself into being here longer (he hinted in summer) but hey ho - lifes about taking new adventures on board.

    I may do a part two soon - not sure yet - mega blethers ....................'Stripey socks II .........the return of the wellies?' or Stripeysocks II...an adventure in wellies'

  • Heading to bed in a mo..............having a major think here!

    If the house is going - which is a shame but inevitable - then - onwards to new stripey adventures!

    Will keep chucking money at Gargamel - but I think until I know what's happenning I will hang back from paying him off in full will just keep up with regular payments and sticking all extra into the online saver.

    The down side is that I can't have another student once this one goes - I don't think I can anyway...............onwards!

    Fay, I can really understand you *wanting* to buy a place, desperately so - to be able to have control over how you live and where you live, and when you arrive or leave - of course! But you've woken up to all of it now, and I'm sure you'll get there - keep going, the more you do now, the more choices you'll have next year.

    fingers crossed for DD's audition i'm sure it will go wonderfully.
    We've got our second person down with piggie flu at work so i think i'm being blamed cos it went back to work too quickly. oh dear.
    just realised that i was supposed to update my finances this weekend as i have my payslip so i can do that tonight. What a fun life i have.
