she offered so I am really happy about that!

Don't you just LOVE internet banking?? Cheque from last week's extra wages went in this morning, and thanks to this fab site, I was dead organised and knew exactly what to do with it£165 to bills account, £200 to holiday fund (yippee, there's enough in there now!), £100 into rent-paying-back-fund (ahem, going to take a while at this rate!) and the rest left for my £50 a week food and unnecessary spending
Keeping track of your money is actually rather 'fun' sometimes...0 -
glad you're having fun - I do quite like moving it around - and I do quite like 'knowing' when things are due to be happenning!!!
OH has just announced he doesnt know if he wants to wait til Oct to get married and surely these things don't take much more than a day or so to do and come home from? And by the way can't we do it in February? or in the summer??
He's been single for almost 40 years - what on earth has just put a rocket up his bum? ...............its not like he's pregnant or anything (I don't think??):rotfl:

lol Cheery it's only us on here who find keeping track of money fun. I updated all of my accounts last night in readiness for payday on friday and i should just about skim across the choppy waves of financial life during December as long as i'm not silly with money.
Doesn't look like i'll make my target of less than £20k by the 31/Dec but will happen at the end of Jan.
On the good news front it's official i didn't give work collegues the piggie flu, they have a virus so that's ok.
Oh and i won £16 on bingo britain last night as well.0 -

Just unlurking to say good luck to DD with the orchestra - did lots of similar things when I was younger and auditions are scary but a great experience playing with groups like that.
Good luck with the Welliefest plans tooDebt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
Tut tut, Fay - how careless!
Meanwhile, I'm having a stripey crisis - one my pairs of pink & white stripey socks is missing!@ LBM = £15,872.65, now £10,819.82AF Jan = 7/? Feb = 5/14 Mar = 14/20 Apr = 6/14 May = 2/14 June 2/14 July 0/TF Aug 1/TFv Sept 6/TF Oct 4/7"NEVER DOUBT YOUR OWN QUALITY"0 -
HB - socks always leave home - they are unfortunately for us - solitary creatures - who seek refuge in dark places (back of sofa, under beds, down the side of the wardrobe, etc).
They are alas born to be alone - despite how they break the hearts of the single family socks left behind.
We have a bi-annual sock hunt - 5p a pair found to be absconding and then reunited, 2p for single reprebates who's other halves have yet to be located.
Although you have no small children to bribe for such extraveganza events
Its mayhem during a sock hunt but fun!Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
