He has his moments.. We didn't get to have Valentine's last year as we were back and forward to hospital for 5 weeks.
In case I forget to post it tomorrow, Happy Valentine's day to everyone. Even if you haven't got an other half, you'll be special to someone even if you don't know it. Aaah, nice romantic things happening to people - fay - hope you and OH have a scrummy weekend; unix - roses, lovely.
I treated myself to a very reduced bunch of yellow roses/carnations this morning whilst buying some reduced veggies, they look lovely in the kitchen, that'll be the extent of my Valentine's I think ;(
At preschool this morning, DD made a lovely heart biscuit covered in thick pink icing and the silver balls which we shared whilst waiting for the train to Brighton, where she screamed her head off in the hairdressers.....I'm a bad mummy to a mixed race daughter, I don't know much about how to make her texture hair look lovely, so it was a bit dreadlocked and took some persuasion to comb out...oops!
She looks even more beautiful now, we were back to having people stopping us in the street to tell me how gorgeous she is
Thanks for the slug sanctuary idea, once I get my proposed veggie patch dug over will put some ideas into practice0 -
I don't label things in the freezer relying on my psycic ? psycotic? ability to 'know' what it is - whooopes
 crikey, after what you have said before when we come to visit you we'll be bringing a picnic :eek:A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

congratulations on your first overpayment, didn't realise it was such. I still remember the first month i lived within my means, and keep trying to think of what i can do to pay off my debt earlier.
today i have donated blood one of my only selfless acts. my finger hurts though where they stabbed it !
Just won £5 on free scratchcards, i've never won so much before, i was only just being grumpy with tab as they knew yesterday i needed 25p to be able to take out £10 from there so they've only let me win 10p each day. gumpy bumms!
i tend to try and grow way too much each year, i do well with salads, have managed leeks and spuds and tomatos and peppers, i always find courgettes hit and miss, had really good years then nothing for the past couple. basically i'll grow most veggies including things i don't like so i give them away.
Let me know the finer details about the willow parcel. thank you so much0 -

My heart knows me better than I know myself so I'm going to let it do all the talking.0 -
you can grow salad and herbs in tubs if you have windows, do you have a balcony? if so then you just need some big pots and can grow tomatoes, courgettes even some spuds0

I really want to grow veggies this year-and soft fruit. Either in the 100 foot or so of south facing wilderness or on the patio.
I thought courgettes, onions spuds raspberries, strawberries.
Is there an idiots guide type website anywhere that explains the stupidly obvious ?
I'm going to send you some freezer labels I think though !!!!I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole
