Fay - check out Tesco's cleaning cloths area - ours has value MF cloths - 3 for about 87p I noticed the other day. Haven't tried them so can't confirm what they are like, and they are white which is slightly annoying......!
*just thought - I am right in thinking that you have a Tesco now aren't I? I had a feeling that you got one up there at the same time as the one in Stornoway opened?🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

OK - will check out MRT's for cloths and then I may well ask for some to be posted - I had one in my hand on friday - so I am sooooooooooooooooo glad I didn't buy it. Thanks guys!!
OH is hysterical - he doesnt want to combine 'our' finances until 'he' has straightened himself out.
This is the man who has a <£26k mortgage and two CC's maxed and has just had his 5th pay increase in about a year.
Not of course that I know how much he earns cos he keeps changing the subject. Oh yeah and has just annnounced he's probably off to Canada in June for a week biking (he has 5 mountain bikes all over 2kish each) and is thinking of buying a new bike for himself. Pah he sounds more worried that I might find out how much money is he ACTUALLY wasting.
Men...........walks off shaking head.
Just fed the troups soy mince bolognese - as he doesnt do anything but 'prime scottish steak mince' this one did make me chuckle. He thought it was 'very tasty'.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Hi All :hello:
well met youngest boyfriend and I don't like and I like his friend he had with him today even less! OH going to talk to her. Trying to have a quiet sunday and its not happening. Done 3 loads of washing, baked biscuits (Twinks hobnobs) and tidied kitchen. My pal wants to come over later but I was really hoping to get a bit done of my second job but can't really do that if my pal is here. My stuff sold on ebay so its a little extra.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J0 -

Fay, I'd be honoured if you incorporated fairy umbrellas into your repertoire, I even have a gorgeous pic of DD holding a leaf and looking really cute somewhere
Back from a lovely afternoon- DD and a friend rode their bikes along the pretty darned chilly seafront in Hove, me and other mummy nattered and took photos, deeeelish icecreams at Maccaro's (sooooooo many flavours), then back to mine for tea and oh what a surprise DD and friend pulling the sheets of my bed so they can jump on it!!
I think OHs are congenitally tight about moolah, they think we're the frivolous ones wasting cash on non-essentials like food, clothes, roof over the heads of the children etc, whilst they get important things like model railway buildings, ipods, bits for computers.
Sometimes I'm so glad I'm single, I may be skint and sinking, but at least noone's dragging me down(my exOH has managed to do it all by himself now, without me propping him up on a periodic basis -only problem is, I won't be getting maintenance *sigh* but still better than being with him and suffering it too)

Microfibre cloths - yes great things - have about 100 of them, yellow for kitchen, blue for bathroom,pink/white for anything else. Great for cleaning glass/mirrors/stainless steel etc without any chemicals, I just use very dilute stardrops for anything mucky.( i know not particularly any more eco friendly but use very small amount and it works out cheaper than the vinegar etc in the long run)
Paid about 80p pack of 3 for mine and just keep chucking in the wash - they last forever.
Loved reading that piece of writing fay - you should do more:j
Re OH - maybe he doesn't want you to see how much of a mess his finances are in, and how much he wastes on stuff;) more than being concerned about yours.0 -
OK Star drops - see them on ebay for 1.50+2.85 postage
any one links to better 'deals?' - off to skulk about the OS board to find out.......
