Darwin boy came in at £316.23 - gulp.
At least he has new tyres, nice new service and the extra bits sorted. Will pick him up tomorrow.
Got a mag sub off clubcard points tonight, so very chuffed.
DS done his homework - we just had to raid various piggies (banks) to get his bus fare for his club tomorrow - whoops I always forget.
DD at guides
Joined the spending diary link that Tallie gave on small things today so have spent today £318.53 (argh)
Here was me hoping for a NSD.
Put £1 milk money into my xmas sealed pot.
Down-ness a very good made up word - although its sad.

she was one big bad hair day, she was crested but with long fur, black with a brown mohican. you would smile just looking at her, that's if you could figure out her front from her back she was just so furry. We've had to put the ramp back in the hutch so the rabbit can keep Possom the other piggie company, he's just got to get a bit less full on with her.0

I used to have a couple of bad hair day piggies, mine were orange and white. I adored them! Everytime I went to peg out the washing they would whistle and chirrup at me until I took them a carrot, unbelievably cute :heart2:Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

Good tactic, much harder to shout at a girlie whilst trying to keep eyes under control

Update for today
Started an online spending diary - figure for me I am more likely to update something online as I constantly lose everything like notebooks
Did payment a day to scary hairy loan.
Will walk over later to get the beast of burden - walk dogs on the way
Otherwise today - I know its silly but I am a bit confused about my finances as I have moved (some not all) of my DD's to mid month so now I am not really sure where I am - I need to redo the DD's that I cant change online - might just shift them all to one account (logical?!) and then have them all come off on same day (scary) so maybe in a month or two I will be use to it.
Chap I share a room with (at work) has asked if I might consider him as my other lodger when the b&b chap moves out. Texted him last night after speaking to OH to say OK lets talk, but today he's not mentioned it.....will see.
Someone just gave me a very sweet (but very dead) wren. Another one for the freezer until I rehome it for the local bird group (?!) I did tell my collegue 2 dead birds in a couple weeks - people will talk!!
I am sure however as it adds to my collection of death and distruction in the freezer - you will all find it most amusing........
Away to the library for a bit..........Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

...shows how little I know. There was me believing the local bird spotters hid in bushes watching live birds....I stand feeling better educated, they stand in groups around your freezer....
I can't give advice on direct debits, to me it makes sense that they all leave the same account at the same time. However, my finances are a mess, so I'm not qualified in any way! I just like knowing they're all out the way and the rest of the month, although brassic, holds only unplanned budgetary surprises :rolleyes:Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30
