makeup it's not london per se, or the cost is more the reason we're going - visiting the outlaws.
Ah hah! Well that explains it! Sadly I have no good ideas on dealing with that problem!
Hopefully a visit soon means you won't be seeing them at Xmas?? That might be good?I've got my own flat :j:j
Now I have to pay the bills

Sounds a good day, Fay. Re the slow cooker, one thing I found worked well recently was barley, believe it or not - I buy barley from Tesco, of all places - the OS board on here worked out that it was ridiculously cheap, something like 3p per portion, and it cooks well in the slow cooker for about an hour.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Ah OK do you stew it with stock or just on its own?
I get my soya mince and cous cous from tescos - again ridiculusly cheap.
Yawns a sleepy hello to KC must find some coffee

Can mine be put there too, I hate my outlaws, they are like the !!!!! but without the crime!
I can arrange boat trips up and down the Thames so we can go past and wave at them
edited to add: the '!!!!!' word is supposed to say 'm.a.f.i.a' - why can't I put that

The barley - I just did it on its own. It was a storecupboard thing - I've been eating it with a few spoonsfuls of tinned sweetcorn, crumbled feta cheese, value olives and homegrown fresh basil (plus a tomato one day). I usually have more of the carbohydrate on my plate than anything else these days, but I lower the % for the barley - on its own, it has a bit of a weird texture

:hello: I just zipped off to do the dishes, which are another "must do" on my list, actually, and feel v tired again, so I'm sat down now at the lappie again. Round Two of my coffee coming up shortly....2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Hi Jo
Was thinking of you while I did a few jobs myself (window cleaner came earlier in week so I was determined to do the inside!).
You always seem to have so much to do at weekends, do you not get any help? I know you have 2 LOs but surely they are expected to tidy up after themselves at school/nursery (I found that rousing 'tidying up music' helped). And what about DD1 and OH? I can understand why you need to 'escape' with so much to do.
Off now for an 'urban walk', weather glorious here, hope houses I pass have cleaned their windows too:D0
