Chandos on Trafalgar Square (near Post Office on William IV Street) - they don't sell 'brand' spirits (smirnoff, gordons etc) but they sell some odd brand but it works out cheap. They also have nice food which is also cheap. Kind of like the brand step down that Martin recommends!!! It has nice olde worlde wooden booths as well!

Doh! I've been there but forgot all about it! :D

If you like proper beer check out The Cittie of Yorke - think it's on High Holborn but I know it's really close to Chancery Lane :)

Thanks I love to find cheapie spots to drink! I splashed out with a friend in the bar at St Martins Lane hotel and it was soooo expensive...we nearly had a heart attack (2 cocktails for £30 which included service :eek:) We had to leave after that....we couldn't afford to stay
I've got my own flat :j:j

Now I have to pay the bills

  • Its nice and fresh here today and I am still sat here in the pink and white spotty dressingown.:o. Had a lovely lazy morning. Have been feeling a bit out of sorts this week, but I think a nice lay in has gone a long way to fix it.

Second cup of coffee on way.

Fay your trip to the sooth sounded productive, and cheeses in the fridge what can I say. (Its coming to that time of year I always start admiring cheese in the run up to Christmas. Lincoln has a Christmas Market and peple buy all sorts of crafts and bits; and what do I usually buy you ask yourself....... cheese.:rotfl:Cheese with ginger in it last yearl. yum)

Off to get showered and dressed, see if I can find something as cheerful as the dressingown to wear:D
My finances are work in progress.
    Normal veiwing will resume shortly

How you doing Fay, was going to text you last night but my phone was doing odd things, seems to be working again today though

Weather dark and dismal here, looks cold out, sat here in stripey dressing gown (at 11am, the cheek of it!). Have lots of cleaning planned, been planning it for an hour or so but not moved off the sofa :rotfl:

Speak to you later on girl :) xx
