Huge hugs for MR LT xxxxxx

PAD to the evil one - hurrah almost at 500

Just sent ex hubby vile email after recieving a horrible one - he's a bluebottle.

I own a squeezy tub of vaseline hand cream (the only moisturiser I own - um well actually aside a wee bit make up - the ONLY face product I own)

Slapped some on face this am in the spirit of hte new moisturising.

I am not much of a girl - so its a big start for me

LT am now shamelessly wearing earrings to bed therefore I save time in the morning!

    Morning all!

    Morning!

((((((((((((((((Lemon Tree))))))))))))))) Oh dear:( what bad news, and how annoying being left on a message and you having to tell OH :( How rotten :(

I think you're right to start small, and moisturiser is a good place to start! I reckon it really does make a difference :) I started moisturising my feet with a nice smelling lavendar and chamomile thing when I went to bed a few months ago, and they're lovely now, and I'm in the habit of doing it every day! So go all of you! :)

My habit for this week (and this is rather embarrassing) is brushing my teeth properly :) I always brush them, but mostly just a quick in and out (!). I've also got several fillings... so now I'm brushing for two minutes (timed!) morning and night - and they already feel a bit less sensitive (not to mention cleaner - see, I told you it was embarrassing).

Gosh, the secrets we reveal to 'strangers' on the internet, hey??

Good luck with your moisturising, I bet just taking time to do something nice for yourself will perk you up no end :)

And Fay, Evil Edna is being well beaten into submission! Yippee! :)
  • Just discovered (although I did have an inkling) that Darwins mot is slightly overdue - as he's due his tax tomorrow- whoopsie

Phoned the garage so he's in being 'seen' to at the mo.....they had a space - when I got there they said 'it'll be dun when its dun lass' - reassuring? um NO?

Outcome of the MOT will inform whether or not I tax him tomorrow - might take him off the road if he's needing lots done.

    Update later

Cheery i've started with my feet as well, and gave them a tidy up and moisturise last night, so that feels better.

OH rang up today for feedback on his interview and it seems like he missed out by 1/2 a point on the marking scheme, so if anything happens with other person he's next in line. Now i don't advocate there being something dodgy in anyone's past but i hope the candidates has something so OH can be offered the job (sorry i know this is mean! very mean!) It's made OH feel better that it was so close and boosted his confidence a bit which is good.

Fay well done for the earings, i have to confess i've had mine in for years, i do take them out occasionally to clean them, but not every day.

can i suggest Evening primrose oil to those of us who suffer from PMT, it's a very good balancer of the hormones and helps the OH's get away with a little less grief each month.

That's quite a reassuring confidence boost LT! (although I know what you mean about being mean - it's ever so wrong but ever so tempting to hope for these things!) :) Good luck :)

Not so reassuring about Darwin though - bah!

Tough times....... and hugs to all....... sorry about Darwin, Fay, and LT, I understand too about wanting something to happen so your OH can have the job - and it isn't always a bad thing either - maybe the person with a half more points got offered another job, or they got a chance to go on a course they really wanted, all sorts of things.

Cheery Daff - I *so* know what you mean about the teethbrushing - I do it now cos they'll fall out if I don't :) and the hygienist also recommended twice a week with ordinary cheap bicarbonate of soda - that might help too.
