wish i was swimming in lovely warm water, think i'm going to have to bite the bullet and use the swimming vouchers i've bought. I must must must lose some weight do you think cutting off ones leg counts???

would it increase your motivtion LT if I told you I have lost nearly 5kg since i have started swimming 2-3 times a week. And that is only for half an hour or so AND not really cutting back much on food. Ok yes that has take 4 months, But I am still pleased as I love swimming. hate jogging eeeewwww Glad to hear things are progressing for people. We are just coming into Spring here, so am looking forward to putting away my winter clothes. They have had a work out this year.... We are going on a farm stay next week. Hope it goes ok. Not sure what to expect really...Still I think the boys will enjoy it. chev

Oh Chev, that sounds blissful..... sigh.... I remember the one and only beach holiday I ever had - I was in the sea 5 or 6 times a day, just for ten minutes or so splashing - I was a lot younger, but I got incredibly toned incredibly quickly.......

I'm a bit grumpy this morning, but thats made me remember what I'm aiming towards..........

Off to London today - annoyed because I was deallocated a mystery shop that I spent half an hour printing and working on yesterday. Never mind - I'll go play somewhere else! Huh!

Hope everyone has a good day - go swimming for us all, Chev - there's a *very* windy day coming up for Fay in Scotland.

    RBS are rascally robbers!

Pay off your loan early (hairy mclairy paid off wonderfully early) and the robbers took £3.17 out of my account today in interest making my finished paying zero balance minus.

Seemingly it was the interest left to pay _ OK Its not that bad - BUT - when I phoned to say thats it paid anything else to do the lady said no thats fine.

    Robbers

Marched in at lunchtime with 317p in 2ps and 1ps from my piggie bank :rotfl:

That showed them - still  cross  but its all sorted now. And if I hadn't of paid it straight off today - they'd charge me MORE interest.

Storms off into the field to do soil moistures probably the fastest they've ever been done!

Hee hee - that's brilliant!! I just have an image of someone marching in to a branch of RBS, throwing a huge pile of 1ps on the counter and leaving with nothing more than a dirty look...genius! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

My Powerpuff Girl socks are no more. They have ceased to be. They are ex socks. Too thin to do the business any more. Have put them in the bin 5.gif. Now got stripey grey ones on :)

Blurdy barstewards! Glad you did the 1p's thing too - that must have given you some satisfaction in return at any rate.

A thought. When You make the list for your mega-shop, why not make a secondary list of things (like the fizzy water) that is the same price up there, then when you get back do a big stock up on those too so you have even less call to go near the supermarkets when you get back? Also, if you can get your hands on someone's Makro card that might be worth a wander around to see if there are more savings to be had. I usually borrow Mum's card when I need Loo rolls as there are often good deals to be had. There are Makro's at Aberdeen and Edinburgh, if that helps.

i would have written 317 cheques for a penny each, and only banked them after i had run a magnet over the magnetic strip and folded them down the middle so they would have to be processed manually.

once almost did this for 17p that the tax office said i owed them.

    evil me????????????????????
