Not that I would advocate taking revenge for revenges sake but I briefly had an interlude with a fella who believed that all bathrooms should be carpeted and extended this belief to extra contrasting mini-carpets around the toilet, washbasin and more bizarely on the toilet lid. I had a very unfortunate accident with several packets of rapid growing cress seeds which simply leapt out of their packaging and distributed themselves over the entire fluffy area. Very careless of me.

The dead frozen Guniea pig thing sounds imminently sensible to me. Although I say that as one who has the cremated remains of a German Shephard (complete with casket and name plaque), with whom we moved house, sitting on a shelf in the kitchen awaiting the arrival of a suitable small tree. We've previously held a full blown funeral ceremony complete with prayers, a procession, a burial and a wake (to which we invited the neighbours) for a Chinchilla.

  • Love the cress story - and Hi!!

My friend did some thing 'similar' in her ex-OH's car when she 'caught' him messing about with someone in it.

I light dusting of water over the carpets of the car and a brief sprinkling of cress seeds....................................

    Hope your tree arrives soon!

Stuck at home in the snow. Hey ho thats the way it goes I guess. Pals have 1ft snow and lots ice and there is another 4 hours snow forecast for today - so we have cancelled reluctantly. (Money saving I guess but need to think up half term things here now)

Lodger girlie has just transferred the money into my bank account for deposit and first months rent (woo hoo) waiting for it to clear - am I diligent and put the lot to the loan???? Or do I put in a bit - not sure.

No woolworths to amuse the little ones - DD is currently constructing the stuff to make DIY candles.

DS is snoring - TBH best place for him if we have 5 days at home to look forward too.

OH has decided after all he 'might' come up for the weekend, he will see how he 'feels'.
Me thinks the cause is my lack of phoning due to being busy writing. He tends to like an independant lady, but, if she gets too engrossed in her work he is prone to a bit of sulking and flinging his toys out of his pram.

I'd say its like going out with a very insecure girl - but that's an insult to girlies!!!!

Hope you all good today - x

    Loving the cress idea :)

I was once horribly dumped by a man at uni who turned out to have a fianc!e back home (the git, poor girl at least I wasn't weeks away from a big wedding.....). I happened to share a house with some engineering students who were sent packs of postcard sized adverts asking you if you wanted to sign up for catalogues of screws, bits of wire and the like.

Guess who was signed up to each and every one - along with free samples of sanitary products and KY jelly. Hope he still gets them! :)
  • Waving at you Fay :hello:

    Will catch up properly later

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

As guided by the fairy angel princess - (that's u SM) - I am now all glowy. :D:D:D:D

One to the loan other money is in my online savings account....................

    :j

The evil one is now clutching my first draft of first chapter (Did I mention it will need redone in 2010???? and is therefore a complete waste of time - oh I did - sorry)

The not so wise one also informs me that the might not be able to do 'much' with it - cos its been 'asked for' by my external supervisor then that makes it 'examinable'.

How does this progress my severely lacking almost non-existent writing skills I asked - 'you might have a point there' he said shrugging.

SO I might get bummed off PhD for not being able to write, um you know, um all scki-entifi-cally like - but they won't review stuff to let me develop.

So for not being able to write properly (for which they are concerned) they wont give me any help cos it might not be appropriate:confused:

This is why I want a PhD cos then you get a job where you don't actually DO anything.

Walks off muttering, he doesnt even know what a willow looks like. Piq - can't you come up and sort him out?????????????? (I have plenty canes!??)
