Waves to Cheery daff to say Hi - keep up the good work and soon it will all be over!!!! Don't work too hard though and do SLEEP!!
OH is safe for the mo - but gutted as 2 of the guys he 'persuaded' to work for him in other companies have been made redundant instead of him - outcome is better for him than for them
I just think he needs to be happy and somehow work out what it is he wants, happy to support him either way - glad he's OK now in the shorter term - he says it will focus his mind on sorting his house and thinking about what he really wants to do - he's talked about teacher training. (Maths) He'd be ace at it.
Maybe if he pursues an application for next year he can sort his house and bank some money and then do something to inspire folks

Wow, its all go on here, isn't it! I'm glad OH's job is safe. I'd be interested to know about your spends going up as your income goes up. I know when I used to do a lot of work, my outgoings were higher - didn't have the time to cook from scratch as I do now, for instance.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Yeah the spends (waves to KK) - the house is bigger, we have more people (although we have 2 lodger incomes) and cos of those (or cos I am really really lazy - but I can't do the work outside on the house and inside - well I am lazy!) we have a cleaner and a window cleaner (25 pw (cleaner), 20 per month window cleaner)) - electricity dd is 95.50 - oil is between 100-150 monthly - rent is cheap I guess at 650 (for the size of the house) but its all adding up.
Food I need to work harder at (100 pm) - thats true what you say - got the budget down to half of what it was but its NOT ideal.
Feel like my report cards

Whilst I am on the subject of must try harder - I need to get a copy of my credit rating - finally face it and see how best to mend it. 20+ years of not giving a damn and now finally I am about to face the music.

Re did Martins Budget thing last night (I used it many times before to see how things are going) we are in Green but the household expense spends are high (over £1037 a month) - I really need to tackle that some more..
Hi Fay,
Where does this budget thingy live? Would like to have a bash with my figures. Think you said you spend £100 per month on food - for the 3 of you? I'm spending easily more than that on just lil ole me - yikes!
