lol at nutthead, i think i know where she gets it from.
wow on the fluffy loan front you'll soon kick that into touch.
you'll be fab helping out the flower teacher, just think how much help you've given us on here with our plants and gardens.0 -
I can see a resemblance Fay.:rotfl:Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -
from your posts Fay, I think you'll be a GREAT teacher. Your passion for your subject and your patience are phenominal. And if you are teaching adults it'll be a gift. They actually want to be there and learn.
I reckon the person you *may* be replacing has chosen carefully, who he wants to pass his crown to.......0 -

Fay, You will be a BRILLIANT teacher, because of your passion for your subject and your great communication skills (now THAT will puzzle the dsylexia people, and may give a clue as to why nobody has got around to noticing it before
)
Teaching is the best! (used to do it, and love it, but other stuff keeps getting in the way these days) - go for it :beer:0 -
Well done Fay, the loan is shrivelling away fast now! And congrats on being offered the teaching place, I'm sure the man himself has chosen carefully. From things wou've mentioned on here before, I think there are quite a few people who value your work and your skills and want you on their team! Well done!!0

Ooh, fay, all good news! Look at that loan!!! You've done so well!
And I say go for the teaching! It's not that much work... and what a fabulous opportunity! Sounds like he's hand picked you too - what marvellous newsI think you'll be great!

To be fair (morning all) the poor man hasn't got many folk to choose from.......
Picked two giant tubs of rasps and given one to a neighbour....I had a word with the chickens - well to be fair I had several words with the chickens - I am not sure we have consensus regarding resuming egg laying, however, I noted my assurance with them that they were entitled to a peedie holiday but it would be nice if someone started laying again!
They did seem mildly interested after I kicked them out of their house (they are hiding in the hen house at the moment) and I did have lots of lovely leftovers for them.........
Although the rasps are a lovely treat - I do need some lovely fresh eggs as
I feel a pavlova coming on - its one of the few puddings I like
Have chums comign for dinner. (Chicken fajhitas)
Away to yesnaby for a walk on the cliffs - which will be nice http://www.orkneyjar.com/portfolio/scenes/yesnaby/
Fried breakfast also
I hope I like teaching. I am confused by the dyslexia thing - I do feel like a bit of a fraud - OH and I were talking about it today - its odd to be diagnosed, but many things make sense now. But, I am still wondering if they got it wrong - or I am just lazy or if there is something really up (make sense?) I generally do think things in a bit of a different way. I correct as I go - I am more concerned about the lack of direction I have been given (or is that me offloading) I figure if someone actually 'showed me' what to do with my literature review, I might manage it OK surely?
Confused dot com here.
Although the more books I read (I have 5...ahem) on dyslexia the more things make sense sort of.
I guess I am scared of being lazy rather than being dyslexic - as dyslexia is just a differnt way of thinking (well so I have read so far) and laziness for me is probably one of my main sabboteurs - I've been confused most of my life though......
DD has indeed eaten the birthday watermelon.
She's gorgeous and a little insane in a nice way. I love that shes so self assured and confident (mostly) and is so random she's brilliant and a breath of fresh air.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
