    Morning all

LT - hey wow - I feel lazy as I opted for doing it online :)

Peedie update from the Orkney isles :) (been a while :))
Morning all - I get my formal assessment for dyslexia on Monday - anyone know how long they take/

Renegotiated my real deadlines to take into account losing a day :)

I am almost there for sending some proofing :) (Almost)

DD has grade 4 cello today - hugs and sparkles to her

Off to sort myself out and get awake just wanted to say Hi to you all and thanks for bearing with me during my insane lack of goodlife posting

    All well here

Garden paths being renovated by brothers - bro no 1 has bro no 2 working hard :)
    Chookies are adorable
    Garden is greening up
Slugs are being slung on a daily basis
New student looked at room - methinks he might be a tad hard work but leaving a tiny outer island at 16 to 'leave home' and enter the real world maybe we need to be a bit more patient :) will see have my best mummy house on and embrace the stripey and black clad art-stoodent wannabe - :)

Finances are OK ish - got a deal from first credit re evil card at 0% - oh of course you probably don't know about that one yet 2930.79 - they are offering 20, 15 and 10% off the total if I up my poultry £50 a month to them at the moment.

Thinking about it as I am almost (but not quite) paid off hairy loan - don't want to commit to too much until thats sorted and I know whats happenning re phd (ie cash).

    Sensible?

Shoppping is going well, ie there isnt alot of it although I do confess we had a takeaway last night :) but I chose well and it was under 20quid for 5 of us - don't ask me how :)

Stripey socks shop is working well - few things getting low or about done (so I need to readjust my list) but on the whole there are still lots of things there - the ace ness of going into the shop in your socks (ie to the garage) hasnt worn off

I have 4 out of the 5 washing powders I bought - I must use less of this than I thought :)

Darwin has a leak the naughty boy - oil from somewhere underneath need to try and sort that soon - we do need him on best form before we head away to the land of france in um - about 3-4 weeks

French student turns up at the end of the month to sample Orkney agriculture and life :)

Morning, my lovey stripey one. When mine had their assessments, it took about 2 hours. Maybe not as long for you as you are an adult. Hope it goes well.

    ..runs in .............Morning:j:j,

hope you have given extra brother the smallest hardest bed
(floor would be my offering) ,hardest pillow in the coldest part of the house , where the window doesnt shut properly ,,,,,,,"owe him"................a slap and a kick up the jacksy

..so have you discussed his leaving date ,,,,,,,,well obvioulsy he can't stay long , what with your students arriving soon and you need to prepare their rooms ad the house etc ..

"owe him" ....you could stump up for his ferry ticket , I'd get it for two days time....stating the bleeding obvious perhaps but wouldn't he find it easier to get a new job back home......... runs out ,,,,,,,( would slam door but its your house and Im not rude)
