a mega sleepover for the kids and a few friends over for you - make some bunting, put up balloons, if anyone asks it's a party "just because" (so as not to offend your children's feelings about their dad), and mucho vino and nibbles :)

I get more irritated on my "wedding anniversary" than the date he left - we were together just under (literally by weeks) 10 years, but married less than a year (again missed the 'paper' anniversary by about 6 weeks)....although last year it came and went without me noticing, I think I remembered a couple of days later :):):)

I'm SOOOOOOOO over him, in fact when I get sad and miserable about being on my own/failed relationships etc, I feel sad about a relationship I had 18months ago which I thought was going to lead to marriage/more babies etc than I do about my exhusband, lol. All I want from exOH is his money for DD. He knows I wouldn't pee in his ear if his brain was on fire, lol :)

I think you should have a party next weekend, to celebrate who are you are now, the journey you've taken and your 10 years of freedom with your funky kids; a mega sleepover for the kids and a few friends over for you - make some bunting, put up balloons, if anyone asks it's a party "just because" (so as not to offend your children's feelings about their dad), and mucho vino and nibbles :)

Hey there thanks for that - we are hoping to go to a pals (the one who is as naughty as Piq sounds - Jane makes me giggle so - she just has her naughty knickers stapled to her bum I think) - so will be all of us and OH - lots silliness - I think I will think up something silly for sat night - haven't warned Jane its my anniversary - but she knows I think - we sat beside each other at the Botanic gardens through many many many classes that seemed to put her to sleep - bless.

Hugs to you KK - I had one relationship (before current OH) which was very on and off since i split up with my hubby - and if I am honest with myself when penguin boy and i broke up (constantly we broke up several times over the time we have known each other - should really call him yoyo boy) it hurt me far harder than my hubby. We had so much more in common.

Anyway - I love the brain on fire comment!!!!

So next weekend - if we get there in Darwin we will be in the middle of the north highlands on a private estate (my pal gardens for a private hunting/fishing estate) with some very very silly chums, scoffing treats and probably laughing so hard we will fall over. (I hope!) I may take some bunting!!

No I know - just thinking I have a large stash of it - would your piggies like some ? its all oven dried it wont cost much to post honest - be happy to reassure your piggies that I don't normally freeze animals unless they died of natural causes, but I have written a note in my phd stuff in the diversification bit about pet stuff - anything that can make it more viable!!

PM me if you want a dodgy parcel of willow from me - very happy to see if its up to your piggies standards!!!!:T

  • Away to encourage the children - (SM would say slave labour) to fill up all the log baskets - its sunny and so snowy.

Children have had full wheelbarrow licences since they were big enough to push one.
My son is now doing his 'hoovering licence' - I keep telling him he needs lots of practise to upgrade to training his sister for her 'hoovering licence'.

Then work and paperwork for the rest of the day - chained ot a computer - hey ho.

Unfortunately, I am probably naughtier than I sound, I try and tone it down a bit, in case I scare people :o but I don't ever have my knickers stapled on, clean ones every day for me!!
